I like the Waran, for pretty much the same reasons Jammi stated.
With a powercore that big, you can fire off SNACs just as fast as the refire rate allows, without having to wait for the energy to recharge. And it's open use, so it's great for independent pirates.
But if you can get a Barghest, then yes, go for that. it's big and slow, but with a dedicated CD slot and a Freighter shield, that thing's a beast.

I can make cycles around it in a mamoru, never get hit and just SNAC+Screamers. Anyone can, that's barghest: Great for piracy (unbelievable firepower) until the lawfuls come and then you're probably dead.
