Well it blows to be certain, this kind of thing denigrates everything that you and the other people who have worked on this mod have done. Will keep an eye out for this mod being advertised and put a spanner in their advertising works.

All we can do, for now, is stick to OUR community here and think about what else can be done
to improve "Discovery Mod" protection in future versions.
Quite LAME what some ppl can do when lacking innovation skills, still they claim 'Originality'.

While it is deplorable, it is not at all insulting.
I wonder if they've done anything to prevent people who think it's their work from altering it?
Because its a problem that could mushroom rather badly if people assume that they're free to change the Alliance thing.

It's not related to nationality. They are Russians, sure; but most Russian modders do respect others' rights, like everyone else.
I only found out about this mod because I'm Russian, that's true, cause if the site wasn't in Russian it would be impossible to guess. Say, someone could make similar thing in Chinese, but no one of us would understand unless they start to promote it widely on English resources.

well, yea - when you look at it from the shakespearean point of view - copying, even without credits was an honouring the author. - anyway, ... its not really only the program but also the community that makes the mod, and here - both parts, mod + community fit well into oneanother.
they can copy the mod, but they cannot get the community, - so... nothing lost, it just leaves a funny feeling, i guess.
