There wasn't too much LN activity in Hamburg before we "lost" the Westfalen.

but you rocked it and had the entirely Rheinland Military on 4 hour pvp death lock out while we just pretty much lol'd around with out much a care near the end because everyone was dead/dying, I think Dab even got in on it a little bit.
Like I already said, the event to retake control of the westfalen has already been done, and we kinda pwned it.
The westfalen is pretty securely Liberty's at this point.
The event was to try the new stuff Cannon made possible. Rheinland had absolutly no chance to do anything against that. I alone could've brought all the stuff in 7 days.
Also I think it should be decided in fight, not with such event. Or just like it was decided before. Without any RP behind it. Just "plop, it's RM again". Or don't we have enough Adminpower for that on the RM side?

I'm pretty sure that the RP behind it was RM and BAF having a war and stripping their main fronts of forces.
I don't see BAF whining nearly as much as you guys.

Honestly, there's a good reason I don't often bring the [LN] to Hamburg.
I have always regarded the war as something which should really happen more in the borderworlds along with New hampshire and Bremen, more than in Texas/Hamburg. This is a roleplay consideration.
On a slightly different note... Fighting in Hamburg involves one of the following scenarios:
1. The fight happens above Westfalen.
1a. The fight sucks due to battleship guns.
1b. The fight sucks due to the Rheinland boys having crushing numerical superiourity making it a challenge-less forgone conclusion, making all the Libertonians dock on Westfalen.
1c. The fight sucks because the Libertonians have crushing numerical superourity and STILL use the support of Westfalen's guns. I dock due to the astonishing lack of backbone displayed.
1d. Endless reinforcement makes the battle last forever. Accusations of re-engagement fly in both directions. I dock due to frustration.
1e. I undock from Westfalen while completely alone and instantly get missilespammed to death by 982364827364982634 caps. I laugh and log off.
1b. The fight sucks due to the Rheinland boys having crushing numerical superiourity making it a challenge-less forgone conclusion, making all the Libertonians dock on Westfalen.

2e. I fly alone around Hamburg and only find anything at the planet, at which point I get slammed by a group of gunboats/whatever.

Nobody fights battles in Hamburg in a way which gives them a risk of actually losing. This is dull. I don't want to see people docking. I want to see massive explosions on both sides.
I don't want to have to spend half an hour shooting at a daft battleship that thought it might hit four fighters with primaries, only to watch it waste our time and then dock.
I don't want to have a duel with someone, knowing that I'm not actually risking anything because I have a bolt-hole less than 20k from the fight.
It's dull. It's like the order repeatedly camping Isis, except two sides can do exactly the same thing in the same system at opposite ends of the same lane.
There is no fighting in Hamburg, only people docking. Docklancer. DockDockDockDockDockDockDockDockDockDock.
