What's funny is that I haven't been an admin for a full year now, and I still get people PM'ing me to help them fix things.
Doc said it truthfully. While the forum part of things regarding sanctions and such is the most visible, the in game portion, where you simply spend 2 or 3 hours helping people is just something that's not seen by anyone except those you helped. Whether it was something as simple as beaming a lost corsair back to Crete, or helping someone get their ID situation straightened out because they'd shot the wrong ship - that's something that everyone who's been an admin has done.
