T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - murasaki - 10-27-2011 *# Cannot operate outside of Gallia, the Tau systems, Omicron 80, and Omicron Alpha, Bretonia and Kusari That's a no-go. We're supposed to be a Sirius-wide organization. T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - murasaki - 10-27-2011 ' Wrote:Probably the most neutral (faction) ID you can get, then, is the Zoner ID. Might work, but, what ID would that be? Unless we can get our own ID made specifically for us, I highly doubt that there's one that would suit our purpose. T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - Lennox - 10-28-2011 Hmm...but you have to begin somewhere. You do not have to show hostility against others if you don't have the fitting ID. My suggestion would be to get the Zoner ID or the Freelancer ID. With a Freelancer ID you really can be neutral to almost everyone, even the Gallic House I think. But like you said there is a cargo capacity restriction. If you want to stay classic and visit the non-Gallic space only then I would suggest a Zoner ID because there is no cargo capacity restriction. Keep in mind that only the best factions on the Server get their own ID's, like the Hellfire Legion or the Reapers of Sirius. You would have to walk a long way with a different ID before you could get your own. But all in all the introduction is not bad. Have read worse.;) T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - murasaki - 10-28-2011 ' Wrote:Hmm...but you have to begin somewhere. You do not have to show hostility against others if you don't have the fitting ID. My suggestion would be to get the Zoner ID or the Freelancer ID. It's not about not showing hostilities, I'm afraid the IDs I get would require; A) Bribes, which normally drop rep somewhere else, or B) IIRC Some IDs rephack so it makes certain factions automatically hostile to you. I don't know what Zoner ID requires, but I do know they are RELATIVELY neutral. And I'm aware of Freelancer ID's neutrality. I know that it's difficult to get a personalized ID, but I have the intention of putting the time and effort behind this to make it work. However, no one even seems interested. I've narrowed it down to two things. One, the application isn't light and easy like most apps. It requires some time and effort to fill out. Two, anyone who applies is not guaranteed entrance. The reason for those, is, I expect only quality RP. Anyone I recruit would be (essentially) a representative of T&N, and as such, I can't pick people willy-nilly. They have to have the drive, the motivation, the dedication to be a good RP'er. T&N's employees are the face of the company. If they did something that would negatively impact the company, one can't just go back and say 'I'm sorry'. There are consequences to be considered for every action. /rant Anyways, thanks for your (assumed) compliment. I do hope you pass along this thread to others who might be interested. T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - viragons - 10-28-2011 some dont understand---- Quote:T&N is a quasi-legal splinter group, originally a Junker subgroup. Quote:T&N is essentially the 'Jack/Jill-of-all-trades' of factions. By contributing to all factions, they can keep their relations neutral. Quote:Birthplace: (Space-Region-Planet/Ship/etc. | Ex. Kusari-New Tokyo-New Tokyo) Quote:The T&N rank system operates much like a pyramid, or mafia structure. You talking about a quasi-legal group based on friendship with the GC, the greater part of the story is based on the Kusari, a friend of the Junkers, but you still want to have a neutral with KNF?Want to do contracts for IMG and also for OC and for Corsair? And then insert the ranking organizations such as the Cosa Nostra? A little mix? T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - murasaki - 10-28-2011 ' Wrote:some dont understand---- Variety is the spice of life, darling. The mafia ranking are merely comparisons, so that people have a more accurate understanding of how T&N's ranking structure works. Although, I'm not sure what you're really trying to point out here. Your point isn't clear. Is this approval? Disapproval? Insulting? I don't know anymore. T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - murasaki - 10-31-2011 Bump for 265 views. T&N, Introduction, Application, Feedback - Zelot - 10-31-2011 Another faction that mnust be neutral to everyone? I assume you will Q_Q when you get pirated, yes? How bout you make yourselves some enemies. Enemies are just as important to your rp as your friends, and beyond that, just because you want to be neutral with people, doesn't mean they want to be neutral to you. Like the Farmers Alliance and Xeno's for example, there is no way they will treat you as anything but hostile. This is a role play server and there are no factions that don't have any enemies. I assume you will Q_Q when you get pirated, yes?Good to see the Admins are leading the way in keeping the forums friendly and greeting new players. It's nice to see the effort you've put into this Nimble, it still needs lots of work though. Since you're still pretty new to this specific server, I'd advise you just use the Freelancer ID for now (do you even have a ship over 3800 cargospace yet?)....fly around and trade and learn who you like/dislike. (Note, you'll probably get pirated even if you are neutral to somebody). Find out where your RP fits in and which trade routes you're most comfortable with and then just adapt the faction until you find what's right. Sort of like what Echo said. Junker ID would also be a good start.....but no Kusari with that one (not without being shot at). I don't think you'll find the ID you want atm, but maybe your requirements will change with a little exploring? Nobody has mentioned Interspace Commerce? It doesn't fit all your wants/needs...but they can use larger transports and have a very liberal ID. You could RP T&N as a subsidiary of IC. |
