ok, here is more info. the clan would scan player ships, and maybe set up drug busts. If we catch people carrying illegal cargo, we would ask them once to eject the cargo, and would have a freighter ready to transport it back to base. if they did not comply, then we would take their sheilds down. if it persisted, and they turned on their cruise engines, we would disrupt them and destroy them. keep in mind, we would have heavy bombers at hand to blow up the larger stuff. we would also be in slipstream fighers with their agility and speed. i would also train my forces with some tactics that i picked up here and there. please post if you have any suggestions or questions.
P.S: would it be possible to make a police car-looking ship in the next version of discovery?

Maybe I should stop this before it's too late? Concept of police is wrong from end to the beginning.
You may do this if you want (and if you'll find anyone to support this), but I will never promote that to official faction on this server. It's more like honest pirates who catch on smugglers only.
As for ships... are you fan of 5th Element in addition to Homeworld?

As for a police force, it wouldn't work, say you scanned me and asked for my cargo, I would turn round and shoot at you, I find that is usually a big enough no. And considering I usually patrol in a Huegenot, if you wanna takle artifacts off of me, you'll have to pry them from my cold dead hands :crazy:
