IMO what fails in that ship is the extremely thin body and cockpit compared to the engines... i would fly it if it had "more mass"

It's not really fitting into Freelancer and it is a 100% import...of course with much better quality than the old Renzu and mining ships, but still...I'd like a new model!

The Talon is a personal favorite of mine. The design would be hard to beat IMHO. If someone made a model that looks sleek, sexy, and aerodynamic I'd be down to fly one...but I just hope no one messes it up, or else I'd be an epic sad panda.

Yeah there was a model/texture for a new Wasupu, but alot of people QQ'd about it apparently and so it didn't get in. The link below is a picture of the Wasupu model that was made. I don't know who made it (I forget, was a long time ago) but I remember the thread and found the picture in a random forum search.

It's unfinished by the looks of it, but it's infinitely better than the current one.

hum i remeber that, people started to say (andQ_Q) that looked more libertish then kusarish, anyway it always looked better than the current one to me even if it looks like a liberty ship

If you're into that kind of thing, maybe?

I think it was made by Tycho. Maybe send him a PM and ask him to finish and resubmit the new texture?

Model lead here. The Talon's current model is quite fine as is. There is no need to replace it and there are no plans to replace them. There's plenty of other models that could do with a touchup other then this one.
