There are no gladiators around to counter. The ship sucks, therefor people don't fly it. Actually partly because all HF doesn't have a role in this server.

You are somehow wrong. I spent couple of months collecting bounties in a Switchblade and it was actually good in getting upper hand over Very Heavy Fighters, Titans, for example; even better against Gladiators (unfortunately, not Centurions).

They require more effort than the average Very Heavy Fighters, but, if you can't fly a Heavy Fighter, it's all about you, not about the ship.
