But really, I'm fairly certain that prices are completely arbitrary. How else would we have armour plates seven times more expensive than the ships we can fit them on?

For 400 million, I think the ship should atleast have Gunboat turrets and a Gunboat shield. It would also be nice if it was more agile.
There's a debate here about luxury vs practicality; honestly I just think it's wrong for such an awesome ship to be so expensive when it doesn't offer anything the other Liners don't already have. Some of the other Liners are actually much more agile, I think.

It's a roleplay tool, and it is not going to turn into a seriously over armed and heavily armoured battle
transport. It is the pinnacle of Renzu ship building and engineering. It is expensive, it will stay expensive,
and you have the choice whether you want to buy it or not.
If all you want is a transport, I suggest you purchase something else to be honest.
