Well don't forget that famous French arrogance, which might be why the King allows for policing of systems *just* annexed. I like the fact that GRP can do this (as it is confluent with French colonial and modern history), but I don't think it would be fitting for any other house.

Well, just to throw an example, BPA, as opposed to GRP, does not have access to Cruisers nor bombers (or at least I never saw any), at least 80% of the faction is made of Hussar's, as far as I'm concerned, GRP is the least police-like police faction out there, they fight on the front of the war. Also we don't see cops driving tanks/armored transports around, right?
PS: I also heard GRP has one Valor?

Gallia is pretty much the same as Kusari, just with 102301240120120 more Battleships.
In kusari, the only reason KSP wasn't allowed in leeds was because they weren't allowed, rulewise. Think about that, Kusari let Hogosha, Farmers, Samura to fight in leeds, wouldn't they let KSP?

BPA Can use bombers, the LPI had/has also a Dreadnought.
But GRP is still a police faction, and at least in my mind they all should have the same possibilities on a matter of Zoi.

If you look at French colonial history they had a distinct aim at spreading culture/civilization, where the brits where only interested in trade/moneh. So of course a Gallic (French) invasion would be keen on installing structures that allow for a further cultural expansion in the now annexed systems - no way to do that without police to set the tone.
Plus the French has the gendarmes, which is a weird breed of military and police, which might also be a contributing factor to the GRP's slightly different nature.

All our ships active on the front lines are tagged GRP|GR-. The GR stands for Genadarmerie Royale, essentially a military force intended for police duty on the front lines.

@casero: I only play in policeless Omicrons and Bretonia, so I can only comment on the BPA, and out of all officers I ever saw, all of them were hussars, one prison liner and one shire, if they can use bombers, I wonder why they don't. Still, gallia seems to be out of template in more and more ways when comparing to the rest of houses.
@Loken: I see, I'm not trying to be rude or sarcastic, but how does "policing" a hostile system with no bases where pretty much everyone aside from gallics and gaians is hostile different from GRN roleplay? I can't find anything, but I'm no expert on gallia.
