:mellow:I like the idea of bounties for '€œbad'€ people '€“ you should not get bounties for '€œpeace lovers'€ like traders, however how about this idea:
At present if you kill someone the faction they belong to hates you more. If there could be a system that - that faction automatically increase the amount for your head. Say I come along and kill you I should get the '€œhated'€ cash in the kitty generated by the factions you'€™ve offended. So when you are re-covered and you ship handed back to you, your hate kitty will be reset to 0.

I'€™ve often wondered if the dislike bar in your rep menu goes to the last block (red extreme right) the additional hate points should go to bounty.

You still have to do RP so you can'€™t attack a friendly for the bounty.

Its ok but that will promote pvp and there are to many sanctions about bad rp engagement and reengaging...if what you say will be implemented just think how chaotic this all shall go now pirates have a reason to kill you exept the part your better dead than alive to them....so i think and hope this will be implemented for NPC bountys only but until an admin posts here we should not even dream about it....

Its very hard to create a command string for this system but i was thinking of 2 posibilities
1.The player status windo logs everithing you kill in 4 categories fighters/freighters/transports/battleships...the ideea is like this...if 1 categori rises buy 1...your credit balance also rises but an intended ammount (but this is a drawback because that log isnt acurate..disco dosent have 4 ship categories)

2.The shield!...its class specific exept fighter/bomber wich shares fighter/freighter shields...so if you kill something you get the intended ammount designated to that type of shield...this way cruisers will pay more than freighters because they are classified as freighters by freelancer

But again...its up to the admins

Just immagine with this system the npc spawns could be increased...and i will gladly form a farming gang and this way we can hunt npc's not only players...missions to low pay and onestly against 7 cruisers i pay more to repairs than i can get from them...trading is dangerous nowdays and mining...you are a sitting duck at best

Edit: you ideea for rep bounty system is ok but i cant even speculate how can it function...simply to much variables.... also there is the bounty board...

No idea of how implementable these idea are, but there is already as system where your rep is influenced by what you shoot at. Maybe only bounty hunters my receive bounties with RP rules still applying; this will greatly increase actions against unlawful factions '€“ good news for traders and miners alike. If a bounty hunter sees a pirate or any other unlawful lurking about in a police controlled system he / she may simply engage after scanning the id, but anyone with a lawful id may not be engaged.

I like the idea of maintaining high npc spawns and farming gangs '€“ this can be a new popular sosial trend in the game.

I tried to get other answer many time, but ''NO we will not'' was usual one. People dont like to do job for free, that is sad actually, but those who making this mod alive usually dont listen common people about that

As far i am aware disco is losing players and this "addon" will mostly make the entire game more pleasent...hanging out with frend for a npc hunting session

Edit: I even have tons of ideeas how to get this up and kicking but who will listen to me...anyone interested?

So how is this better than the fact you can harvest escape pods from NPC's and sell them to bases?

It's very similar to a bounty when one particular base hates a certain NPC faction and will pay BIG money for returning those escape pods to it.

People already can make money from shooting NPC's they are red with, so what does this idea change?

People can put bounties on each other already, that fills that gap, and NPC's drop escape pods, it's pretty much the same thing.

Insta-Money from killing NPC's is just asking for people making an NPC farm near a Tradelane or as they un-dock from a base...

Sorry, but I don't think that this feature would be really necessary to improve RP and increase player interactions. There are already enough possibilites to gain credits.

But maybe, you could open a shop, selling pilots. (Although you can't RP that actually... hm.)

"harvesting" is very boring for a fact and you only see few people...from personal experience its very unpleasent to hund some npc just for theyr drops and if there is countless posibilities for newbie credits...please tell me a goo one beside My ideea.....missions in pensi are VERY hard for rookiees...mining its something out of the world for them...and trading in a CSV ...well i dont wish you that
