Never played WoW for more than one week (I had a friend who lives inside the WoW-servers, and he was pushing me to pick up his addiction too), and never in my life have I been so bored.
However, I liked KOTOR a lot, and from what I have seen, TOR looks quite like it.
What I don't get is why all MMO's are basically the same skills vs. skills system, with no real "human" skill involved. All it takes is dedication (to level your character up and get the right OP combinations of powers that everyone else has), and then set off your macros and wait. I don't understand why player skill has to be taken out of the equation.
I recently got into Eve, and I really hope it is different, but I have a feeling it is the same, just with more buttons and some expanded options in regards to corporations and the economy.
However, I am a TES-addict, and I have a feeling that at least the TES lore will be expanded with a MMO set before the other games, and that might do it for me, even if the gameplay is as silly as in the other MMO's.

Instead of making possibly dumb MMO, why they won't make proper multiplayer in let's say Morrowind or Skyrim on smaller scale? With high modding capability, possibilities are nearly limitless.

Fallout MMO is already in development for more than a year now. It was silent because of the lawsuit in between Bethesda and Interplay. Since now they agreed on terms, soon it will be announced. The new game being Fallout Online is more probable than TES online though.
And TOR is really a bad copy with good make up. Guild Wars 2 will be interesting though.
