Because I tried to make credible the faction story. But maybe there will be corsair or outcast factions.

We are the group who finished in the Omicron Delta and then saved by Zoners. Other groups that have been saved from nomad ships may have docked in Corsairs or outcast bases. This is why I chose this story.
We are a new faction, without a real diplomacy and enemy. Zoner haven't a real enemy, except wild and nomads, the same faction who tried to kill us, so be a Zoner can be a strategic position to establish our side.

As far as I know well, Outcasts mostly contain Italian blood line with a little Spanish in them, while Corsairs are of pure Spanish origin. I really don't want to ruin your concept about the first Italian faction, but the Outcasts are the first ones.
About the similarity between the origin of the Colonials and you, Latins, it's not really my concern, just saying not to be surprised if somebody else annoyed might post in this topic.

I'm not sure where, but there is definitely a misunderstanding between us. I did not say the Latins are Outcasts, neither that Nomads attacked Outcasts, I said that in my opinion the latin naming would fit them better than Zoners. Yes, you know well that Nomads aren't on hostile terms with Outcasts.

Corsairs and Outcasts ancestors most likely spoke Italian, Spanish and English. Not Latin.
So far the story doesn't explain who the Latins are only how they got to Omicrons.

Latin is a dead language spoken mostly by scholars and Catholic church so I'm curious how this is going to work.
