So, these cloaks. - Texan - 04-10-2012 By the way which type of cloak can transports use? Only the large on or all three? So, these cloaks. - Knjaz - 04-10-2012 ' Wrote:20 mil for a large one. Cause its useless. I'll take it then. Love useless stuff, you know. Money in-game. Where can I pick it up? ' Wrote:Its not that expensive at all. Large cloaks require only ...time. Yeah... time. lots and lots of time. if you count in the base supplying/building, nomad farming (can be done only at certain time in certain places...) Only the large on or all three?Only Mk3 Snubs with cargo between 100-120 can use small cloaks rather effectively just saying. (Waran and Arrastra are the best possible snubs to use it with.) A Gunboat/Freighter can use a Medium Cloak effectively only if it has a UAU8, so there's some give and take there too. Cruisers = same thing with GBs, use UAU8. Battleships and transports make really good use of them. So, these cloaks. - Camtheman - 04-10-2012 Beginning the cloak sequence when jumping through gate/hole is a great way to save time =P and not get noticed as easy... I thought medium cloaks were for transports? Interesting. Good to know I was about to build a medium one :L The price of cloaks are not due to the price of materials but due to the price of labor. As said above... Putting up a base totally of the grid doesn't seem like such a bright idea now, especially with 120k basic alloys needed for a mk3 On another note, cloak disruptors would seem to be the next logical step - any info on whether or not such a gadget will be added sometime in the future? So, these cloaks. - Zapp - 04-10-2012 Maybe not cloak disruptors, but cloak scanners. Something tells me they wouldn't be as 'nerfed' as the cloaks are. So, these cloaks. - Camtheman - 04-10-2012 Quote:Something tells me they wouldn't be as 'nerfed' as the cloaks are. THAT. All day. They'd become just like cruising/train disruptors. Everyone would have them unless they took up a special slot or the CM slot... So, these cloaks. - FallenKnight - 04-10-2012 Are you sure its Mk3 ? Cuz what I know is this: MK1: fighters/bombers MK2: gunboats/transports MK3: cruisers/battleships Unless something changed... |
