As far as I remember my first faction was the NLH, and that was the best part of my disco-life I think. Unfortunately they are gone and since I'm oriented to the unlawfull side of the server, I'm looking for something like that.
I have to say, there were no official/unofficial factions where I got bad experiences.
Novadays I'm happy if I can log in...so no idea about the circumstances yet, but to answer your question, I pushed the piracy button.

Actually the final nail in DSE) for me was Saronsen, but eeehhh.
The mining nerfs killed DSE) and a bunch of other faction way back when, it's hard to stick around in a faction when your profits have been halved twice.
