Your report has been received. The Tau 23 system is a poor choice for a vessel of the Furea's size, maneuvering through a dense asteroid field is nearly impossible in a combat situation. Naval destroyers and strike craft are better suited for that area. Rishiri is also not optimal given the Crow nebula density, it reduces sensor range, which allows strike craft to breach a defensive perimiter before a response can be launched. The final battle of the 80 year war is required reading at the naval academy, and shows why large craft are ineffective in such places. Rishiri has been calm for the past three months. I believe we would be most effective in Honshu. Perhaps a show of force will persuade the Gas Miners to reconsider our governments gestures of peace, and if nothing else, our presence might help deter some of the Hispania's brethren.
We shall set our course there as soon as we have finished resupplying and refueling at Yokohama.
