Your movie/game/life - Richter - 04-24-2008

Hagen is a common german first name and Richter is a common german surname. I was just combining two names I liked.

Come to think of it, I always liked the fictional character Hagen von Tronje from Richard Wagners opera cycle "Der Ring des Nibelungen".

But actually, Hagen von Tronje and the Rheinwehr pilot Hagen Richter have not much in common.

Alois is the middle name of the current Pope, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, formerly known as Joseph Alois Ratzinger. Gottlieb is a name I found by looking through the German surnames category in Wikipedia.

Rheingold is an altered naming of Rhinegold, a treasure that the dwarf Alberich sought and gave up love in order to get, and used to rule a kingdom.
