'Lo all - Reverend Del - 04-28-2008 Hello and welcome, name's Del, I'm the local pastor around here, yes I am a real Reverend. So if there's anything you might need feel free to ask me over PM's. I also lead the biggest band of thugs and thieves in Liberty, now there's irony for you. 'Lo all - Horon - 04-28-2008 Welcome! Good to have more targ-I mean people around. Make sure you read the rules, follow them, and I am sure we will have some fun! 'Lo all - Equinox - 04-28-2008 Welcome to Discovery! 'Lo all - symuun - 04-28-2008 Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.:)I've been reading through all the major threads and they're pretty comprehensive in all, but I do have a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to. On some other servers I've been to, there was an understanding (not officially covered by the rules, but held to strictly) that people wouldn't use nanobots and shield batteries in normal PvP. Is there a similar arrangement here, or is it 'anything goes' in that regard? 'Lo all - Boss - 04-29-2008 Sadly, it's anything goes. That's why a simple PvP fight will last for upwards of an hour sometimes. On Disco, RP is the king. 'Lo all - Dieter Schprokets - 04-29-2008 Welcome #1: Join an upstanding faction like the <strike>LPI or Rogues</strike> QCRF or Mandalorians [M] #2: Read a whole lotta RP stories like the ones in MY sig #3: wait for the spam to roll in! Hehehe :) 'Lo all - Boss - 04-29-2008 Spammer.... 'Lo all - Vero - 04-29-2008 I too came from a server where the gentlemens agreement was no botts or batts in PvP. Not the case on Discovery, where the general rule is use em if ya got em. It took a bit of getting used to carrying them here, but youll adapt just as I did. In actuality you can spend a lot of time on Disco without ever PvPing. Though the danger of it is always there. See you in space. |
