How's my Roleplay? - Colonel Jade - 05-15-2008

About your ten second rule. It isn't necessarily a bad idea, but... I know that atleast when I'm trading, I am usually not devoting all my brain power to watching what's happening to my trader. If anyone is busy for just a second and misses your warning...

I would personally say give atleast two warnings before opening fire. This gives the trader time to respond, and more of a chance for him to decide to give you his cash. Just my 2 cents.

I understand, but in my opinion, if a pirate vessel is close enough to shoot you, I would be all ears and not doing other things. Think, in real life would a pirate sit around to wait for an answer knowing that there is navy out looking for them? I think that fast in and fast out is the plan for a successful pirate attack, no time to wait for formalities. But i understand that i have to take into consideration that most people don't look at the screen often when on long trade runs. i don't. and that this is a game., thanks for your input jade.

It depends. Are you actually a BD or just a generic pirate? Because I really hate Hacker tags/Gunships with a generic pirate ID chasing me through New Tokyo...

If you're a BD, you really didn't have a reason to be there.

If you're a generic pirate, I hate you. Not a burning hate, just an irritation.

Nomad thruster is questionable. If you have a story for where it came from and why you trust it, then its fine. Otherwise, the Enhanced Thruster is the same make and brings up a lot less questions. Also doesn't get house militaries to beat you up.

The Blood Dragon Gunboat is questionable, due to the tense relationship between the Blood Dragons and the Outcasts... I would suggest the Rogue Gunboat instead, as Liberty rogues would love to exchange it for cardamine/outcast tech.

However the Nomad thruster I don't like. The Outcasts revere the nomads as spirits, if you read the rumours in the Omicrons. You shouldn't use any nomad equipment at all, replace it for a Enhanced thruster. It has the same stats, but it is more in RP (cheaper too).
