no internetz no flash no feed no car no bike whole 20min. I travel everyday to work around 88km and I am np with it it is indeed 5 hours per week 30 min to get there and 30 min to get home but well all people do it.
Strange people living in the medieval times around this place, send it via post pigeon it would suit your needs perfectly.

What is stopping you to go to his place right now? I mean, 20 minutes is nothing, and I mean it.

On the other hand, depends how fast do you walk. Those 20 minutes can extend to 45 if you drag yourself around, so keep up the pace.

20 minutes by car, on hilly, country roads. If the average speed of the car was 60kmph and I jogged at 10kmph, it would take two hours.

Build a Yagi-type antenna and have your friend do the same and then use two wireless NICs to make an ad hoc WLAN.

Time spent: 3-4 hours each person if supplies are on hand.

We use a program at uni that allows for filesharing between people on campus and some near the campus without using bandwidth. That's why I wondered if there was a way to do this at home.
