Dude..michal...

READ.

You just basically said the same thing. A command that will ignore all PMs >_> ''Disable'' is just another word for it.

Seems to me all you folk want is an option to type /ignore * p (ignore all private comms). I can see that as being doable, but it'll require an adjustment to one of the hooks. Cannon will need to tackle that.

I never consider PMs to be inRP. This would just prevent people talking to their friends.

A PM disable option would be cool as long as the sender gets a message telling them the recipient has PMs turned off.

I agree with this.

I personally think you suck at coming up with revolutionary ideas that can change the course of history.

I think one could ignore PMs rather well if he only tried...

I learned that thx to: "Can i has keper id plox?/How do i join nomad?/Rus)))?

Also, it would be good, if a warning would be added that the person you're PM'ing is not receiving them due to activating that mode.

Absolutely unnecessary for /ignore <charname>, since it's being done in special cases only, but kinda important for /ignore all

P.S. I bet it won't save [LN] guys from anything, since they'll still be contacted in Conn by
/fm [LN] Halp! Scylla at the CaliJG in NY!
/fm LNS- "-"

But the idea is good.

A simply /pmE /pmD would suffice, and a little green text saying Sorry player unavailable.
Nothing more nothing less.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Having a small command available to shut off all incoming PMs can be really helpful in certain situations. Being any official faction tagged Navy fighter can draw a lot of PMs.

And with the notification system thrown in, the sender knows that he's being ignored. So he won't sit there helplessly PMing over and over again.

Have it say something like "Error: Target's Comms systems offline. Message not sent." or something like that.
