I copied the direct play dll's from my windows xp install to wine's system32 and added overrides, but it didn't work still. I even added the rule to ufw and it still didn't show up... not sure where to go from here. This definitely is a good start! All I can say is that I saw with my own eyes that it works on Ubuntu and looked exactly like the one on Windows....SO there must be some way I guess. All I know is, that he was running it trough some program (emulator? Guess so) Freelancer on Ubuntu - spec - 01-30-2009 Shadow, did you install Ubuntu or did it work with the Live CD version ? Might try in the future if required, as of now I'm on Windows 7 Beta and it works, no issues so far. |
