The Issue this community faces is not the people who name their characters by their interests, but actually, the real issue is the fact that some people HATE other people for no particular reason, just because they express their own interest.
We were supposed to be a lovely community, no? Friendly and helpful to both new and veteran members alike, right?
I suggest you leave this hatred down, won't do you any good. Especially when it has no valid reason to be there
