yea... to this day i havent seen a scorpion gunboat in person.
i think you should get one mon'star, you're well enough known around here for the admins to allow it (I believe they can simply change your ship type, cant they? They dont have to make you friendly to das wilde), and that ship is scary as all get out.

Changing the ship tends to cause problems, from my experience. Though it wouldn't be that difficult, they'd just admin-place you on the Wild base, have him buy it (If you're docked there, you can buy it, regardless of rep, I think), then move him out.

If you're having trouble flying your bomber, I think a few instructors at New Haven may be able to offer lessons to an alternative character (shameless plug), although I and a few others are unable for technical reasons to provide lessons. I seem to have administration duties at present, heh.
Apart from that, a gunboat might be interesting. Rogue might be best bet, Hacker otherwise.

If you're referring to the NPC scorpion GB it's merely because it's loaded up with Cerberus turrets other wise it's moderately dangerous.

Scorpion GB!!!! It's merely a remotely operated machine anyway!!! But you better put a realy good story about it.
Liberty rogue GB is kind of too rude and simple for monstar... but maybe..
Lane Hacker GS might work.. but it's the complete opposit ...too high-tech with stuff that monstart doesn't need.
PVP-wise it's extremely bad now as well.
