A nice model, i would like to see it textrured to gain a full opinion on it, as to parts - i would leave all parts as they are now, its okay 
if you want you could add some antennas on the "nose" to make it look a bit less duckish?

Fins and engines arent attached to the body.
Other than that, neck looks too long to be structurally sound. Looks like someone slammed a RT's cockpit onto a dromedary's nose.
I think your original concept was much better as a design, being more functional looking.

Still looks too long of a nose to be sound, especially considering the gmg operate in areas with explosive gas fields.
