RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - {PR} Chairman Kim - 05-22-2013 What exactly is wrong with the premise of North Koreans... That's what gives it it's uniqueness... I had thought about doing it with just a Communist Party military wing... Then we could RP quasi-legal right? The RP wouldn't work for a Quasi-Legal North Korean faction. RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - aznremix416 - 05-22-2013 This idea could actually be pretty interesting. I like the idea but would like to know more about the background of your ships, ID's, ZoI, etc. etc. RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - {PR} Chairman Kim - 05-22-2013 We will operate in Kusari, however since we had to live in secret , our base is just outside of Kusari space. However, we hope the message of the Chairman spreads to all systems. Our standard issue ship will be the Black Dragon Hogosha fighter, to keep with the realism of the RP. We will have to go with Borderworlds Bombers because of our I.D. RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - {PR} Chairman Kim - 05-22-2013 Intriguing, I got a pirate I.D. and a loaded out Hogosha VHF, and got an astonishing 8% compatibility. Looks like I may have to use Border World Ships... RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - lIceColon - 05-22-2013 So nk wasn't part of the Coalition? RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - JayDee Kasane - 05-22-2013 Koreas was not part of Coalition. At least in Lore. China was, not Koreans. As for faction - idea is ... tricky. lots of people will go rage cuz of recent North Korean news, but implying inRL problems ingame is something I strongly against. Myself I like this idea. If your faction is going to be communistic alike, you might consider some bisness with us - Coalition. Not needs to be communists however, just having closer goals and or relations with other factions around. Just a sugjestion though. Not that SCRA would not care about your faction cuz its unofficial and small sized, but getting people for it is going to work well for you too. So good luck with it! At least that is not another lolwut pirate everyone you see with huge ZOI faction, alike Jokers or Regenates. The RP wouldn't work for a Quasi-Legal North Korean faction. Of course it gives uniqueness, but it also gives silliness. North Koreans in the 23rd century. Huh. Why not regular Japanese-speaking commies? Sure, if you want to put in Koreans, too as members, no problem, but the organization would make more sense if it was Kusarian/Japanese and not...North Korean. RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - Trail - 05-22-2013 interesting idea but the IDs of kusari dont exactly allow for this (except for maybe the blood dragon ID) I would suggest the coalition ID but unfortunately that is limited too much and wont allow you to enter Kusari. I guess you are stuck with the generic Pirate ID unless you can SRP getting spec op IDs or get a new official faction ID. As some of the others might have pointed out maybe a communist kusari faction would be better. That way you could make a farmers alliance splinter group thats communist in nature. This would allow you to use hogosha ships. Granted you have to know that Samura funds the FA and is primarily the reason the faction is getting its resources and support to carry out attacks so unless you are able to some how get Samura in your communist kusari idea you still dont have much wiggle room to do the RP you want to do. There is a Hogosha ID approach you could do as well but that would make you a Quasi-Lawful (lawful in kusari at least) faction. Not sure how I would look towards a Communist Mafia breaking kneecaps. Steal from the rich give to the poor? lol RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - {PR} Chairman Kim - 05-22-2013 I found that I can run a Pirate I.D. and the ROC Bomber at 100%... So the I.D. and Ship are taken care of. RE: The Peoples Republic {PR} Discussion - {PR} Chairman Kim - 05-22-2013 200 that infiltrated a sleep ship? That's not beyond the pale. That way, you could benefit from the opinion of others and improve your faction's starting information, so that more people may want to join it.
