I've heard that smartphones run with quadcores and 2 gb RAM nowadays. I bet it'd be possible already.

<.<

A phone is a phone.
It's use is to communicate with people.

Why do people want their phone to do all sorts of things. All you need it to do is be able to phone somebody.

The only thing I want is an account manager of some sort. It's annoying when I didn't send all the accounts from my desktop.

I have a Galaxy Nexus.

In theory. I could run it off my phone using Ubuntu Phone OS, and connecting it to my monitor and bluetooth mouse and keyboard and run it off wine.

But that defeats the purpose of this thread.

Anyways, Android devices due to their flexibility could possibly do this>
Windows phone (especially a 920) couldn't because Windows phone has no dev support, or apps.
Windows phone support is dropping in 2014 btw, say bye to your app store with crappy apps.

Unless you have a HTC HD2. That phone does everything. Even runs windows 8 (The actual windows 8, not windows phone 8.)

i highly doubt that this will ever happen, especially because most android devices have arm cpus and lets not forget this game is discontinued since 10 years ago[take windows 8 rt for example]
The closest thing you'll ever get to that will be an remote desktop or a very laggy windows emulator..but then again..you won't really be able to play the game..
Plus if/when you'll ever be able to play the game on your phone, the game will be too absolute/replaced by others in meantime

It always can be ported to mobile devices like GTA 3 and Vice City are. Also, this is a game that's presented both on PC and mobile phones/tablets.
