"Not bad, Not bad at all." Katie said slowly, almost wistfully. Even better now I've met someone like this. Katie thought to herself, as she leaned over a bit onto the counter, standing in a more casual pose.

"Things could be certainly be better, Miss Katie. Please do sit down", Said the Young Commander. His eyes finally moved from his glass of beer to Katie. He studied her covertly, his eyes hidden by his long mop of hair.

"Sounds good!" Katie said to the young commander, and as she sat down, she leaned forward a bit more than was perhaps necessary, or appropriate.

"So... tell me. Why are you here?" He said in a slightly hispanic drawl. The drink was getting to his head, numbing the phantom pain, and his senses.

"The drink. It's cheap, and it keeps coming..." Katie laughed a little, and then got back to talking with Robert.
"What about you?" Katie said, as she slipped her elbows a little bit, so that her head was resting closer to the table.

"This here, is not a real arm. Mech arm used to replace the one I lost in Rhienland. The beer acts as an excellent painkiller....

"Ah, I see." Katie nodded, and stared at the fake arm for a moment. That was unexpected... Katie thought to herself.

"Do tell me a little about yourself Miss Katie."

"Well I.." Katie suddenly clammed up, her mind went blank, and she couldn't think of anything to say.
"I'm, well... Uhhm.." Katie blushed a deep shade of scarlet, and stared into her drink, tapping her fingers.

Robert smiled as the girl blushed and looked away.
"Very well, I think I should tell about myself first.
I was born on Crete to respectable parents. I was pretty bad at my studies until I went to flight school, joined the navy, flew many missions in the Omicrons and Omegas.
Then suddenly, I am here. And here I stayed."
