Mesdames et messieurs,

It appears plenty of things happened in the past few days, weeks, as well as there are still a few rewards to be handed out. Let's get started.

First of all, I want to congratulate to Sergent Savoie et Caporals Charron et Maginot, as well as thank them their contribution during last week. Their participation in the Tau blockade alongside our allies in both the IMG et the CR helped strenghtening our relations with them, weakening both the military et the economy of the Maltese et acquiring useful information on both potential Bretonian-Maltese relations as well as latest Maltese technological advancements related to light arms. The five thousand crates of Maltese weaponry has been successfully transfered from Freeport 6 to Roussillon just in time, which brings me to my next news to announce.

Likely most of you have already noticed it during last week, so it'll be new information only to those who haven't yet. Exceptionally strong ion bursts tend to reach Sirius from time to time, rearranging jumphole connections on occasion. This time it affected Roussillon quite seriously, apparently our system has travelled enough on a galactic scale to weaken previous jumphole connections and warrant for the estabilishment of newer, stronger ones. Because of this the latest ion storm changed the starscape the following way:

The eastern jumphole previously connecting to Baffin now connects to Tau-29.
The northern jumphole previously connecting to Tau-29 now connects to Tunisia (Orkney).
The south-western jumphole previously connecting to Newcastle now connects to Tau-31.

While these reconnections drove us further from our Tau allies, like the Crayter Republic or the Temporarily Autonomous Zoners, they also brought us closer to the southern entrance of Gallia as well as to the main supply lines of the GRN, providing us plenty of opportunities for weakening the conquest even further. Stay tuned for updates on future targets of opportunity, but for now let's deal with due rewards.

Sergent Savoie, your efforts at keeping Roussillon safe et secure, the help you've provided in the completion of the Auxesia contract et your participation in countering the latest increase in Maltese traffic in the Tau Region are greatly appreciated et of course honored appropriately. Bonus payment for the two encounters et for the delivery of materials has been sent to the following account: [C]-Etienne.Savoie. Evidence is attached at the end of this transmission. Thank you for your contribution.

Caporals Charron et Maginot, The Council is utmost thankful for your participation in the recent Tau Blockade alongside our allies, et impressed at the destruction of the reported Storta-class Destroyers. Bonus payments for the destruction of said ships has been sent to the following accounts: [C]-Louis:Charron, [C]-DaMage.. Evidences are attached at the end of this transmission. Thank you for your contribution.

C'est tout pour maintenant. LaFlamme signing off.

Kon'nichiwa,

Sergent Mia Mori from The Council Foreign Brigades is reporting in.

I would love to announce I am back from the short "vacation" in Sigma sectors. Yesterday I flew from Roussillon and Tau sectors (29, 31, 23) to Languedoc system. Now I am ready to fight and assist our allies with Languedoc operation.

However, it seems Planet Harris has been captured by Gallic forces. EFL Oil and Machinery is maintaining planet Harris right now with assistance of Dax, Conquérant class battleship. I was engaged by Obstinate class Battlecruiser, however he miserably failed, thinking he would get my Stellion.

That's all for now! Viva la Council!

Kon'nichiwa,

Sergent Mia Mori from The Council Foreign Brigades is reporting in.

Today I began my patrol in Orkney, passing through Languedoc, 23rd, 31st, 29th, 37th Tau systems and finished it in Nagano where I found something strange on Planet Tomioka.

I met Blood Dragons and Samuran transport in the atmosphere of planet Tomioka, later though I managed to find a Blood Dragon Outpost located on planet itself. I've already uploaded stuff through De Grasse network, including some info about Blood Dragon Fighter weapons called "Gendaito", "Daito", "Tanto", Gunboat Turrets called "Chigiriki", Gunboat Forward Gun called "Kanabo" and Gunboat Missile Turret called "Dragonfly".

That's all for now, I hope the High Command will pay attention to this message because this battlefield is way too close to our home.

Sujet: _________Languedoc System - Intelligence Report
Transmission entrée...

Bonsoir,

In order to keep our databases up to date, Caporal Holdan & myself set out from Planet Toulouse to Limoux Base in the Languedoc system. It was more of a "updating the archives task" so to speak rather than an intelligence mission, nevertheless we maintained a low profile as expected. We set an RV point in the Westray Asteroid Field and began our mission.

A detailed report can be found below. It was decided that in order to complete this mission efficiently sectors 1-4 and 5-8 were divided between us. The following are
from sectors 1-4:

Name: Sergent Etienne Savoie
Subject: Reporting success - Counting the Stars (Languedoc System, sectors 1-4, A-H)
Content: Beginning from the northen sectors and working my way south, is the Lozere Asteroid Field. It spans from sectors 1,2,3/E,F,G.Within the field are Narbonne Base belonging to the Brigands in sector 2E, with the GRN operating base, Battleship Montmorency in sector 2G guarding the Dauphine gate nearby.

West and south of Lozere are 2 planetoids: Le Vigan (2D) and Agde (3E). 3 Planets are also in proximity to the aforementioned planetoids, these are: Planet Ales (3C), Planet Aude (3E) and Planet Cerbere (4G).

One lane connects (2F) the Dauphine jumpgate to the Remoulins Wreck in its debris field (4F). An additional lane connects the debris field to Nimes Station.

The above covers the sectors that I was responsible for.

Savoie out.

Greetings,

As we need to keep our databases up to date, Sergeant Savoie and i were headed to Languedoc system. To have the system covered easier, we split it to sectors 1-4 and 5-8. A detailed report can be seen below containing data from sectors 5-8/A-H

Name: Caporal John Holdan
Subject: Counting the Stars - Success
Content: Beginning from Limoux Base(7D/E), going to northwest first, saw the connection to Provence(6-7/C-D). Which is right next to wreck of Pelican. All of them in Herault Ice Asteroid Field. Moving further, Planet Quillian(6C) and lanes going to Nimes Station(5/6F), can be seen. GRP still maintaining control at Quillian, couldnt get guncams up close. As there is only empty space at western parts, i moved to eastern part of my operation zone. There, Montpellier Guard Station(6F) and the minefield awaits us, as well as Jump Hole leading Orkney(6/7F). Moving up from there, the Jump Gate to Tau-23(7-8/G-H) and an uninhabitated planet, Sete(5G) takes place. Right next to the planet, Lodeve Space Port under GMS control caught by sensors.
Guncams of respective objects can be found in complete report.

Holdan, out.

Sujet: _________ Pursuit of GRN transport

Transmission entrée...

Bonjour.

Pardon for le delay. Mon vessel has been heavily miscalibrated after our lastest sortie but heavy ionization levels, et retrieving data from it required some work.

So as you may know thanks to le royalist's propaganda machine, I've been involved in intercepting a GRN transport carrying casualties from the Taus.

Obviously, they twisted the truth to fit their own needs.

The vessel in question was carrying 1000 people aboard displaying as casualties, but also a complement of 25 royal marines aboard.

-Transport cargo scan-

The transport claimed to be an ambulance, but the presence of those armed personnel raised alarm in both me and le pilot of Bombardier 1. Recognizing the threat these highly trained potential murderers could pose in the future with the many deaths to both les free gallic people and sirian innocents, we requested the ship to surrender those troopers. However, the vessel's captain refused at first, claiming they would stop "Council terrorists and maquis from boarding the vessel." This is false as you'd know, if le vessel did not carry this cargo we we'd have let it through, and maquis... they would just have blown up the ship as soon as they saw it's tag.

We kept attempting to reason with the transport, requesting it to drop the marines for us to fetch or hand over the casualties for pick up and more timely treatment. but it stubbornly refused to comply, stalling our attempts to reach an agreement for the sake of keeping these armed personnel, causing the wounded passengers to go untreated and several to perish on board. Obviously, the stance the captain took put more lives at risk, so I activated mon ballista cannon as a last resort and announced intend to use it, should she keep stalling the situation and cause more deaths.

Seeing the situation's lack of progress, we lowered the demand to half of the marines in hopes that we'd manage to lower the threat somewhat, but she only launched six off. I picked them up, then the situation went back to stalling. Eventually, she decided to attempt to escape with the rest of the marines. Bombardier 1 and me gave pursuit, firing cruise disruptors to avoid their escape into the royalists' stronghold in Burgundy while a friendly transport was en route. Mon ship was heavily ionized, however, et I couldn't keep up with the ensuing combat. I had set course to Macon base in an attempt to recover from the severe ionization, but mes systems went offline et the autopilot flied the ship all the way back to the last recorded docking stop with offline controls: Freeport 10 in Tau 37.

I had lost contact with the bombardier and the transport, but the six marines were still in ma possesion, so I flied straight back to Roussillon.

Here are the logs of our entire encounter with the royalist vessel, the parts involving combat might be highly scrambled due to the high ionization levels, however.

As vouz pouvez see, the severity of brainwashing on the GRN's forces has made them unable to even measure the value of lives. The marines I managed to pick up are currently on Battleship Pamiers, held as prisoners of war rather than dead as she apparently believed.

-Royal marines captured-

The situation could have gone a lot better, I believe. I hope mon report helps clarify the situation et can help show the truth about the actual events that transcurred.

Sujet: _________ Several news

Transmission entrée...

Mesdames et messieurs,

After two months of hiatus keeping me away from this channel I brought plenty of news et other things. The reason of my absence will be explained later, now allow me to start with things long overdue.

I'd like to thank Sergent Mori for her findings in Nagano, et l'information about Blood Dragon technology. The idea to catalogue foreign technology in our database as well is now on our list of things to do, once the development of the database reaches that point the High Command will appreciate any effort spent to find out more details about unknown technology, et of course reward such appropriately.

However, the conflict between the Blood Dragons et their foes on Tomioka lies out of the way of our refugee smuggling routes, et appear less important or threatening to us than anticipated at first. Unless it can somehow be advantageous to us, intervention is not an option there.

Sergent Savoie et Caporal Holdan, the efforts of you two spent on discovering et documenting entities of interest within the Languedoc system in order to bring our database further towards completion et being up to date is most appreciated, et albeit lately, rewarded duly. Bonus payments for twelve et seven entries has been sent to the following accounts: [C]-Etienne.Savoie et [C]-John.Holdan, respectively. Evidence is attached at the end of this transmission. Thank you for your contribution.

The incident regarding the alleged ambulance vessel is a complex one for sure. It is disgusting to see for what the Crown uses victims of their pointless crusade now, but taking on that vessel with such a small task force in hostile territory was also a quite risky move. The situation looked bad enough even for some bad propaganda against us by the Crown, which took considerable amount of effort to counter, despite that I do not want to call out Sergent Savoie or Caporals Charron or Maginot for that, just urge you all to be more careful about such events.

Now that I'm done addressing past events, I'll move on to current et future subjects. The previous occasions were likely the last one to address Messieurs Savoie et Charron as Sergent et Caporal, respectively. What you likely don't know (except for those who do), is that these two people helped me et the High Command greatly behind the scenes. Due to their exceptional assistance of our movement they have earned their place within the HC. Hereby Monsieur Savoie is promoted to the rank of Colonel, now as the Chef de Groupement tactique Champenoise, et Monsieur Charron is promoted to the rank of Commandant, to be promoted to Commandant-Chef once he decides which department he intends to lead in case he is willing to take the extra responsibility coming with such positions. Congratulations to both of you, Messieurs.

After addressing these points it's time to explain myself. During the last two months most of my time were spent with organizing the preparations for a massive assault on the remaining GRN forces et garrisons within the Tau-44 system, together with our Crayterian allies. The recent split among their ranks made things difficult, et while I'd rather not dive into internal matters of our allies, the more I know the more questions arise about which one to trust more, one thing is evidently clear: all of us want the GRN out of that system. With the coming holidays I can happily announce that most of our preparations are over, the remainder will be conducted in January, shortly before we begin our assault.

This also means that we have significantly less duties for the upcoming days, allowing about a week of rest for Christmas et the last days of this year. Take the opportunity to refresh yourselves so that next year we'll be able to take on the forces of the Crown et our task to free Gallia from the oppression with renewed strenght et eagerness. Enjoy yourselves in the upcoming days, that's an order, gentlemen.

C'est tout pour maintenant. LaFlamme signing off.

Sujet: _________ New Year

Transmission entrée...

Bonjour et Bonne Année, Mesdames et Messieurs,

With the new year comes the renewal of The Council itself as well. The new form mimics the old in function, the reorganisation is mainly administrative, its purpose is to enhance the structural integrity of our paramilitary while allowing a lot more dynamism for our operatives in their career, effectively increasing the efficiency of the mouvement altogether. Let me detail the major changes.

The old divisions are becoming the new corps, each having their own sub-organisations, divisions or offices, all with their own clearly defined role, purpose et scope. It was essential to clearly define et separate these to avoid unnecessary redundancy, inefficiency, confusion.

The Assault and Security Division is renamed to Corps Militaire
The Trade and Supply Division is renamed to Corps Logistique
The Technology and Advancement Division is renamed to Corps de Recherche
The Secteur Administratif is introduced as the new body of The Council tasked with administrative duties
The Exécutif des Opérations Spéciaux is a separate entity now, controlling the special divisions of the other corps
A total of eighteen divisions are defined for these five main bodies

The above will provide the solid basis for a more dynamic et consistent career system. Ranks in the middle of the ranking ladder has been split into five different paths of ascension based on different professions or competences to allow specialisation for each individual operative of The Council. These will belong under et be overseen by their respective corps, but nobody will be restricted to a single profession. Each rank of each profession will have their own requirements et perks.

The lowest two ranks remain Aspirant et Caporal, collectively called Soldats Ordinaires
The next three times five ranks will be collectively called Officiers Commissionaires:
The lowest ones, Officiers Subalternes or Junior Officers, are the following:
Sergent (Corps Militaire)
Coursier (Corps Logistique)
Initié (Corps de Recherche)
Conseiller (Secteur Administratif)
Scout (Éxecutif des Opérations Spéciaux)
The middle ones, Officiers Intermédiaires or Intermediate Officers, are the following:
Lieutenant (Corps Militaire)
Capitaine (Corps Logistique)
Doctorant (Corps de Recherche)
Émissaire (Secteur Administratif)
Agent (Éxecutif des Opérations Spéciaux)
The highest ones, Officiers Superieurs or Senior Officers, are the following:
Commodore (Corps Militaire)
Maître (Corps Logistique)
Professeur (Corps de Recherche)
Ambassadeur (Secteur Administratif)
Agent Spécial (Éxecutif des Opérations Spéciaux)
The old Commandant rank is discontinued, the Commandant-Chef rank is renamed to Officiers Généraux
The Officiers Généraux are the leaders of each new organisation of The Council:
Commandant (Corps Militaire; maximum two, one for each battlegroup)
Premier Maître (Corps Logistique; maximum two, one for each battlegroup)
Docteur (Corps de Recherche; maximum two, one for each battlegroup)
Sécretaire (Secteur Administratif; maximum one)
Directeur (Exécutíf des Opérations Spéciaux; maximum one)
The rank of Adjudant Commandant is renamed to Adjudant-général

Parallel to this a new award system is implemented, closely tied to the career system et the already implemented progression tracking system. Each operative will have their own dossier containing descriptive information about individual career, competences, awards, granted authority et access to assets.

The complete documentation of these changes et the relevant guides are not all done yet, that's something we in the High Command intend to finish soon, et request your patience for that. Until then the main information sheets et other documents will be updated with the already finished guides et descriptions, expect to see the process finished et the Command Center updated as well until the end of the month.

I also have other news to share: I'm sure you are aware the stalemate within Tau-44 has been going on for over a year now. Current plans together with the leadership of the Crayter Republic are that we end this stalemate et retake the system from the GRN once and for all during this month. I hope all of you had a refreshing vacation during this week, because you all will be needed for that to happen. If we succeed, that will mean the weakening of the GRN's authority in the region, possibly followed by further operations to remove them et cut their supply lines. I really hope we cah achieve that.

C'est tout pour maintenant. Bonne Année, mes amis. LaFlamme signing off.

Attention to all available assets within the Tau Region,

As it appears the GRN isn't really keen on letting us know their full strenght within the system. Until the full et thorough evaluation of the entire GRN garrison within the Tau-44 system is complete, minor skirmishes et scout operations will continue. Be on alert until further notice et stay safe in space.
