That's a sad loss for all those that knew him well and all of us who played, adminned, moderated and generally enjoyed having him about the place. He will be missed I'm sure.

A very sad thing to read when just popping in. I was friends with Bear for a short time while I was in the Angels and he will be very sorely missed.
If any event is held for his remembrance I will do my best to attend

This is the first I have learned of this. Such sad news...So young too, that is considering the date he has under "Birthday" is correct. It makes me feel lucky I am still around to see another day. I for one will be taking the letter he wrote to the community to heart.

Bear was one of the few people on Discovery I called a friend. When I left, I didn't know about his condition. To learn that he is gone like this, I feel horrible for not talking to him more, or sooner..
The only thing we can do is move on. I hope you find peace, Bear.

I've just returned from Western Canada to hear the bad new...
Oh dam what a shame...with my dealings with Bear (Brendan), he came across as a real nice guy.
Naturally our thoughts now turn to his family and any children during this very traumatic period of their lives and we all here send our respects and sincere.condolences to all concerned.

[size=medium]Can Iggis do a momorial for him by changing either a System Name, Create a new Code Gun called the "Bears Claw", A one of the newer ships renamed to "Bear" (or something like that) in the new mod in his honour/memory of his dedication and contribution to us as I think this would be a fitting tribute obviously for a game he loved during his closing days?
I trust you all agree this as fitting?
