Today, I responded to an urgent call for backup from Executive Commander Moreno onboard the Iblis in the Kansas system. Potentially-hostile vessels were detected on long-range scanners. It turned out to be a cloaked Order capital vessel. Despite the help of Lord Commander Locklear (flying as Gamma 1) and a secondary fleet gunboat (the Justice Distribution), we were unable to locate the contact, and it slipped into Magellan while taunting us. On the way to the Cortez hole, we found something better.

Two SCRA capital ships (one gunboat, one vessel of an unrecognized class; probably a carrier or a battlecruiser of some kind? were it a carrier, it likely would've had a fighter wing onboard, but it didn't deploy anything) were in the Barrier cloud. We requested they stop, twice, and both times they shrugged us off.

So we followed them into Cortez and1 completely2 decimated3 them4.

And I just noticed I got a promotion for it, too.

Been a pretty good day.

Greetings, While on route to group up with Lord Commander Locklear and Lieutenant With, I encountered a lone Lane Hacker hovering around Planet Mojave, unfortunately I lost my gun-cam shots due to some form of hardware corruption. He attempted escape but the Lord Commander instructed me to Cruise Disrupt and handle him, it wasn't hard at all to get him to stop, but what I found most odd was that they refused to fight me. As much as making my job easier is nice, it's less fun when the criminals don't defend themselves, I'm sure his pink dust is floating somewhere among the nearby asteroid field by now.
I didn't find anything odd after that small encounter and joined our very brief meeting with Auxesia personnel. The meeting went slightly sideways but nothing terrible happened and we all returned back to Hesperia.
Concluding report.

Yesterday, I got a call from Star Colonel Dagon that help was needed in New York. I showed up in the middle of a fight with some Republic personnel — an LPI battlefreighter, some LSA snubs, and, the best part, a Navy gunboat that seemed to be missing most of its armor. There were two Rogues, too – Tom and Jack Baker – whom SC Dagon agreed it'd be best to work with against the corrupt Republic's forces before turning our guns on each other.

Pretty1 good2 plan3. After the fight, SC Dagon even recruited the two Baker brothers, ignoring the taunting of some bunter sitting up near the lanes like a coward. The whole time, there was some assault carrier drifting towards Fort Bush from Norfolk whose communications office was spouting something off in the system-wide channels about us being a danger. Thankfully the Iblis and the Ven'Gyr were nearby. The only thing we were a danger to was4 the5 carrier6 itself7. After that, we RV'd in the southern Detroit field and RTB'd to Hesperia.

Keep an eye out for any incoming comms or hails from those two Rogues. Hopefully next time we can get the hunter scum too — a shame she wasn't caught in the blasts when the Anger fell. I guess that about concludes this report.

We waged war on multiple fronts against multiple foes yesterday, and although we sustained substantial losses and the Ven'Gyr and Incursus are currently in drydock, the following summary of engagements is still noteworthy. Read up.

Texas engagement

I took my fighter out at 0800 hours to investigate reports of Rogue activity in the Texas system. Upon arriving, I saw two hostiles, a Torpedo and one Lauren Shaw, finishing off a Junker salvage frigate. Even if I have the inclination to save Junkers, it was too late to do anything about it.

Immediately following the salvage frigate's destruction an OSC Luxury Liner came down the lane. Shaw and the Torpedo were warned to let it go. They didn't.

After the Luxury liner was safely on its way, I had a brief chat with a former DSE pilot by the name of Johnny Sanders, evidently sympathetic to our cause. I spoke to him about the Legion, the Commonwealth, and we may be expecting an application on our bounty board from him in the future.

Badlands engagement

Heading back to base via the Texas - New York jumphole, I rendezvoused with Lieutenant Reeves who had intercepted another two Torpedoes. The engagement did not go as planned, and despite taking two of the Barghests with us our pods were ultimately carried home by Siobhan 'Diamondback' O'Shea.

  • ● Heavy.Torpedo - Barghest - Destroyed
    ● Serious.Torpedo - Barghest - Destroyed - Guncam unavailable

Colorado Engagement

Approximately an hour later back at Hesperia, we received reports of several Lane Hacker bombers assailing transports in Cortez. Upon our arrival they all fled, but we then tracked down two large targets of opportunity in the Colorado system. This proved to be a fatal mistake however, with the Incursus sustaining heavy damage, luckily not far from Ouray. The Sunrise was forced to retreat and suffered no damage, but is still currently stranded in Colorado.

As the following guncam shot shows, there was simply nothing to be done. We'll be redoubling our efforts against the Republic's forces in the following weeks to make up for this loss.

Sierra Engagement Pt I

Returning to California from the Sunrise's hangar on Azure 1, we responded to a distress call from a Legionnaire engaged with a 5th fleet fighter. In retribution for Colorado's engagement it was chased mercilessly to Mojave, unfortunately surviving long enough for the Colorado fleet to assist. Several Xenos joined in to assist us during the fight, including Diamondback and David Rose.

The nearly hour long engagement took place largely within the treacherous Sierra ice field between Hesperia and Mojave, serving as cover for our lighter assets against three carriers and an enemy dreadnought. I managed to break off from the main fight and take command of the Manticore, assisting the Ven'Gyr in destroying their Overlord and critically damaging two of their Atlantis class vessels, one of which was finished off by our fighters and bombers.

    ● [HF]-HFB-Ven'Gyr

Sierra Engagement Pt II

Following the enemy's retreat from Hesperia, the Coalition arrived en masse with four fighters. Myself, Diamondback, and Rose split up into duels, and I took on the captain of the CPW Lenin myself and broke him over my knee.

What's concerning is that the pilot who managed to flee ordered the others to "fall back to secondary positions". While we can only assume where that may be at this time, it is entirely possible that they are operating from a base of operations within or directly adjacent to House Liberty.

Targets destroyed/routed
  • ● SCRA|Joseph.Garcia - Insurgent - Destroyed
    ● SCRA|Artyom-Novikov - Insurgent - Destroyed
    ● SCRA|Ronaldo.Lopez - Insurgent - Destroyed
    ● SCRA|C-Liberacion - Insurgent - Routed

On a final note, Lieutenant Nicholas Fury is hereby promoted to the rank of Major, and is granted clearance for the command of an Inquisitor class gunboat. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the new tools you have at your disposal Major. Do the Legion proud.

Gentlefolk of the Legion. By now you noticed that your bomber and some of the capital assets parked in Hesperia has a couple more switches and knobs in the consoles. That's my 'Spotter' scanner array. It's a prickly piece of equipment but i was hard pressed to get it to work fast. Thing is, you have to get within 1K of the target ship and stay there for at least ten seconds while it works its magic. Just send me the file descriptor (aka the main guncam) and i'll access all the data regarding that scan that is uploaded to my R&D mainframe database. Bonus points to the kids that manage to take it when said target is getting their armor ripped off, since the Spotter works alongside the tractor beam to get an analysis on materials as well. The 101 How to Spotter manual is in everyone's private inbox.

Oh, only cruisers, gentlemen. I don't want to waste time on snubs and battleships. Who knows, maybe i'll make my christmas gift for you fine lot way earlier than you expect.

RE: Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Traxit - 06-08-2016

Name: Rodrick Rockefeller
Rank: Initiate
Subject: West Point Skirmish

Begin Report

Initiate Rockefeller reporting in. Today, Exec. Cmdr. Moreno, Major Fury, Star Colonel Dagon, Grand Admiral Lancaster and I have set out for a patrol in the New York system. We've encountered a Navy fleet consisting of; Atlantis-class carrier, Archer-class cruiser, Defiant-class gunboat and three Very Heavy Fighters near West Point Military Academy.

After exchanging meaningless banter, our fighters have intercepted the hostile fighter targets, only to be rained upon barrages of Solaris'. We called in the Ven'Gyr to deal with the Atlantis-class carrier while our fighters dealt with the hostile fighters. The Ven'Gyr has dealt with the hostile carrier and did crippling damage to the gunboat, leading me to finish it off. Sadly, Star Colonel Dagon has eaten one of the cruiser's Razors and his ship cracked open. His pod was tractored by one of our fighters.
The cruiser also heavily damaged the Ven'Gyr and the crew had to evacuate immediately.

We neutralized all of the Navy fighters, the carrier and the gunboat. And left only the cruiser standing. Fearing we would only suffer casualties from its Razors.

Initiate Rockefeller signing out.

Greetings, it should come as no surprise. But a couple of hours ago, Executive Commander Moreno, Initiate Rockefeller and I were scouting through New York for Rogue bombers. We found some and got rid of them promptly taking no losses from our skirmish in the Badlands.

A few moments after this we bumped in to Liberty forces all parked around West Point. There were quite a few and most of them didn't seem very potent. The funny thing is, that the moment we came within range of them one of their carriers opened up on us without warning. As a result, instead of leaving them alone, we engaged. Resulting in a two hour long fight. We took two losses, Initiate Rockefeller and a Xeno called Barry Goldwater. We retrieved and drops off both their pods respectively.

The odds of this fight were as follows: Two carriers; Two gunboats and five strikecraft against Executive Commander Moreno and I in our Prosecutors.

The end of fight result was:

Liberty Navy losses: One carrier; One gunboat and all five of their strikecraft. The other carrier and gunboat fled once the Ven'Gyr supported us in California.

Our losses: Initiate Rockefeller; Barry Goldwater. Both dropped off safely.
Attached below is a log of all the neutralized vessels we managed to take down despite how impossibly unfair the odds were.

All in all, this display was embarrassing for the Liberty Navy but does prove that what they try to supplement with quantity, we counter with quality. And by just fighting like hell in general.

Concluding report.

Report Begins

Today, Locklear, myself and Dagon decided to tour West point military academy. Our hosts were showed us as much hospitality as you'd get from a common rogue. A battlecruiser, gunboat, and a swarm of fighters were our opposition.

Of course that wouldn't stop us from wiping them all out.

Despite their best efforts to circle West point like cowards we burnt all of them to the ground. An outcast showed up during the conflict and Locklear showed him the way out that didn't involve his Sabre jumping back to whatever hole he came from.

Here are the Guncams.

Recently I had been out of action due to some illness, but today I'd finally gotten back into the cockpit. It's good I did, because today was an amazing effin' victory for us out in New York. The fight was already going by the time I got there — a heated fighter battle with some goons wearing a (C~ tag, who are apparently "like Maltese but not". Real Maltese or no, they threw their lot in with the wrong side; all were dispatched, and though it took a while, we didn't take a single loss. Guncams excepting these two1 were corrupted, but you probably get the point.

After those of us who needed to restock or switch ships did so, we made our way towards Manhattan, and, uh... in the words of an LSF agent who was on the scene (and managed to avoid getting blown up), it was a slaughter2. I can't even try to sort all these damn guncams, so just take the whole bloody folder. Absolutely3
insane4. Our return to Hesperia was uneventful. No casualties on our side at all. There's not too much more to report, but I do wanna know if Hesperia's bar is back open yet or no, because I really feel like celebrating after today's encounter.
