Well its another sign that the Enclave shouldn't have even been allowed to exist. The destruction of Leeds would undoubtedly have caused a backlash that would have seen them overrun. Now that the war is 'over' they go taking out bases.
The real answer here seems to be #removetheEnclave.
We could have seen some life return to the area instead of losing Sirius's most populated planet and giving the rest to a toxic faction.
But yeah like, don't worry, with Devtonia team we currently have, Enclave is deleted and Bretonia is superpower by 2021. Not sure where they'd place the retcon of Leeds though.

Those garlic factions mostly gain real activity outside of the Gallia core systems, apart from the GMS, who enjoy virtually pirate and encounter-free environment. Any example of a successful domestic criminal faction in Gallia?
The MNG| players could as well enjoy playing other house militaries, while the boogie role of Enclave can be easily fulfilled by the traditional house criminals, Outcasts and Corsairs. 5th house - just more spreading of a finite playerbase on the vast map.

They had ~10 afk valors and specifically attacked when the playerbase which defends these pobs were offline and well... That POB is going to die m8. Hell if it really bothers you than my suggestion could be altered to postpone repairs if it's too defender sided. Compromises people... Compromises. Either everyone has fun for a really long time or a few people laugh for a very short time and the POB players just stop making POBS and you run out of POBS because POBS just aren't worth it. That's the problem. And do you really want to see like 20 POBS out the front of planet NL its self? I don't think so.

Traders being protected from capital ships when they're meant to be actively aware and it's mostly their own fault as they've got so many options to avoid the situation entirely blah blah blah that's different.
The context matters.
Traders don't need protecting like POBs do. Don't mix up a player being online and aware of their surroundings to a stationary building active 24/7 just to die when its owner and defenders are sleeping for no reason other than POB go Boom.

They didn't exactly cause a discussion such as this but we can all hypocritically agree and what not that Weskers jolly stroll through Rheinland was extremely unhealthy for Rheinland POBs and playerbase other than RHA and RM. Being a hypocrite isn't exactly a point when that happened years ago and people finally see that oh boy oh jeez mass blowing up peoples hard work other months in a single days worth is bad.
If you cringe at your past or are labelled a hypocrite for something you said years ago either you learnt and grew your ideas/perspective or have an interest. I don't even actively play this damned game at the moment and I'm still here able to say the effort in creating and destroying POBs is far from equal and like we've said for years but nothing got done, it needs an overhaul. It's just that a discussion like this wasn't fortunate enough to be born and sustained until people were convinced. A little for the record here, POBs should be killable... just not when it does literally nothing for the game and just makes people feel bad for wasting their time. An experience is better than nothing and nothing is what you're giving the owners/defenders by seiging and dealing the most damage during offtimes.

Also yes I said that's all I had to say and that's true for my stance but not exactly true and therefore I'm a hypocrite and so what if people fail to see the opposing side well... Yeah... But hey my suggestion isn't perfect. As I said. It's a band aid if anything. Could work out, Might be a disaster. It's just an optimistic thought out pitch to try and make everyone happy even if it sadly excludes some minimal people from offtime seiging on week days due to their job and time zones.

Turn the argument back again. There is a reason those people play Gallic facitons. Delete those factions and there are no guarantee those people would actually care to play as other factions. I would not, personally.

We weren't sleeping. Not everyone is on your sleep schedule. Between Dublin and Newcastle last night, the sieges took almost half a day. That span of time alone is more than enough for people to log in.
It was 2 AM for me when we finished. It was 7 AM in Europe. It was 6 PM in New Zealand. It was 11 PM in California. We had people online in all those time zones. That just happens to be when we're free.
