I was born on planet Pittsburgh. I was raised by my father who was a miner for DSE on Pittsburgh. I've never met my mother. As i was growing up there i've seen a lot of ships landing and selling all sorts of ore. Over the years i've heard a lot of stuff from these passing pilots about good and bad mining areas.
When i turned 19 my father gave me his savings so i could buy a small mining ship. I started out slow, collecting scrap metal and similar junk within the system.
In 7 years of constant mining i managed to save enough to buy a bigger ship, for better protection.
Despite the fact that i have a better armored and armed ship now the pirates remain a great threat.
I experienced such a threat on my first travel to the border systems where i was hoping to find a better field. I somehow managed to survive and dock to one of the freeports.
It was there i found out about the Independent Miners Guild and decided to contact you.

I was born and raised on planet Erie. My father Morgan Freeman Senior would often take me with him while he went mining with his ship for helium. I never knew my mother, she died while giving birth to me. My father often told me about her life and showed me pictures, but i am truly sorry for never knowing her personally.
My father always told me that I was destined to do something more. That my life was never to be wasted mining helium like his, even though I really enjoyed when he let me take controls of the turrets and shoot rocks. He said that this life wasnt for me.
When i turned 18 my father died of disease. In his last will he left me his freighter and some money. In his last will he also mentioned that he wishes for me better, than what he had to go through.

As always a biography. Anyway, I was born on Planet Stuttgart far away from the City stress and stupid traffic. Naja, my life was boring until I was 19. First, I needed a job and money for surviving in the Rheinland economy desert, which was or is hard.
The payment by Kruger was bad, and risked my life many times. I was first, a Marfic pilot. My rusty buck, my little darling. I had to scrap it after a little fight against a Corsair Freighter and Bombers.
Really it was hard to protect a Hegemon and fight off the bombers. I crashed into an Asteroid with my baby, and injured my left shoulder. At least, I recovered after a few weeks in a Hospital on Planet Stuttgart.
But Kruger, my Ex-Company started with politics where I said, "No, I don't want work for a dictator controlled company." I guess, that was the corruption. Left Kruger, with everything I had or have.
At the moment I fly around the Omegas and Taus with a Dromedary and search for place to sleep and eat.
Maybe I'll buy one Assthingsda.
What I want and have to say, I need a job, a company, my freedom.

The Guild's goal, as I see it, is to use the uncontested mining fields in Taus and Omegas to earn funds with which it can fund independent exploration and research efforts in order to expand it's sphere of influence and market.
What can you contribute while inside the Guild ?
I'm a trained diplomat and negotiator with an expansive knowledge of IMGs neighboring allies and enemies and a passing interest in philology and politics. I have in my service a crew consisting of a navigation officer, quartermaster, communications officer, pilot and a remote mining ship technician, so they can also assist me in my daily tasks such as ore mining and transportation.
Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ?
My personal reason for joining the Guild are that the leadership of this Guild kindly asked me to join them after seeing my communication abilities in a convoy. The department I would like to be a part of isn't listed, but the closest thing that gets to Public Relations is Exploration and Research division. I hope joining such a division will not exclude me from participating in other, non combat operations such as mining and transporting.

I've been playing for a couple of week, but I'm very enthusiastic about this game and hope to learn all the ropes of it soon. I have played the campaign and have a friend that will assist me in my learning endeavors. To answer the other question, I've never been officially part of any other faction.

Long story made short:
Young Coalition pilot meets young girl on an abandoned ship floating on the Omegas. She turns out to be a Freelancer Scientist hijacked by pirates, so he drags her home. They meet and talk and feel and fall in love. Little problem: Young girl doesn't quite agree with the Coalition goals. They decide to stay on the Omegas... And end up staying there for five years or so. It is then that she becomes pregnant and finally convinces said pilot to leave towards a more... neutral... ground.
They head towards Bretonia, trying to find shelter for their newborn child...
BPA here, KNF there, Mollys, Gaians, Hackers. It didn't realy work out.
Finally, not-anymore-Coalitionist manages an arrangement with some Zoners, and they settle a Freeport somewhere.

I was born on Freeport 11 in the Omicrons, where I grew up, my parents being Zoners of course. I would assume I'm of Libertonian descent having been outside the Omicrons for a while, and having seen a bit of the other houses; funnily enough I never bothered to ask. As you can imagine life on a Freeport is hardly what one would call enjoyable, with a fair bit of pestering over the years I was able to get my father to allow me into space when I was about 16.
It wasn't as exciting as I thought for a while, with all the complications of Freeport no fire zones, and the general silence in such desolated areas as the Omicrons. It was nearly two years time before I had gotten into my first fighter fight. My father was busy shipping some supplies to a corsair installation; Yaren if I remember correctly, and I was able to sneak out on my own. I wasn't exactly looking for any action, the Freeport just happened to come under attack by a few nomads. Needless to say, I wasn't ready and nearly died of course, but the nomads were overwhelmed, and eventually wiped out.
Over the years, my parents became less watchful and I drifted into space often, where I spent most of my time. I did butt heads with the Corsairs on occasion, as I slipped out of the system from time to time, but never far. I've since calmed down since the end of my fiery teenage years. Truth be told I've only been out of the Omicrons and exploring Sirius for a little over half a year, with my parents retired from the errand running, living a quiet life on Eleven, I finally have the peace of mind to leave them.
During my time out, I've seen how easily the Zoners can be taken advantage of given their stance and beliefs, and that isn't the lifestyle for me. I don't consider myself a lover of war a violence, simply someone would like to look after something, but in an honest fashion. I'd like to commit myself to something and see it through, and hopefully build a family and legacy of my own from it.
