I was forced to use 4x for SVD because the 6x scope was so much better for Mk11.

I think the major gripes with SVD was people just use it without any optics and run around to double tap kill people.

My opinion about BF 3

What's the differences between BF3 and MW3? I'm thinking about buying either one, but I'm not sure if they're both "military pewpew" shooters in the same way.

I think the main difference is the style and pace of the gameplay.

Battlefield is more of a teamwork based game, on large maps with vehicles. Unlike CoD it has classes such as the medic or engineer. It's more realistic in the sense that it takes into account things like bullet drop, and you can destroy some parts of the environment. In BF3 you also get things like bipods and flashlights, which are pretty snazzy.

CoD on the other hand is more of a fast-paced, run around and mindlessly shoot game on relatively smaller maps. I'm not a big fan of the modern warfare multiplayers, however the campaigns are pretty epic.

I could say that in MW 3 requires more speed of reaction than Battlefield 3. I could categorize Modern Warfare 3 as Counter-Strike.

Battlefield 3 it's a lot more fun as you can "roleplay" your class.

Basicaly they'r both good games and can give you alot of fun if you know how to get it.
Also BF 3 requires more resources and better GPU than MW3.

I would recommend both if your pocket isn't dry but don't be afraid i'll still buy them both Doj.
Just a note that MW3 will require steam and BF3 will require Origin.

How I see it

CoD:
- Quicker/Arcadey
- More emphasis on reflexes
- Can falilitate any length of gameplay fine. Short bursts or long.
- Fun solo and with friends
- Generally Tighter Maps

Battlefield:

- More tactical
- Battlefield Environment - Destructable Environments, Vehicles, Bullet Physics (To a extent)
- Emphasis on longer firefights. Geared to more who can last the longest and who has the better positioning/gun control.
- Awesome with friends, okay solo play online.
- Mixed variety of maps

Both are fun. Both are worth getting if you want to play two different styles of military shooters.
