Go ahead, continue with your speech, everyone has an opinion, the ones who can't make their own opinions about something or someone, those are the only ones who could care for what you say, although, those kind of persons follow anyone who shows Drama, not that it matters anyway.

Anyone without his own opinion, but repeating or believing someone else are not worth to try to convince.

PS: Oh he warned you to vacate the feedback thread... he's really incompetent.
PS2: You got banned after that, who's the incompetent?

Battery is almost empty, so good night. I'll continue this in the morning if I'm in a mood to point out his incompetence as public narrator.

Snak, please vacate this thread.

Dear Lord. Did he actually tell you to vacate the thread ? VACATE ? This is unacceptable.

I suppose we only clean offtopic/spam from threads when it serves our personal needs?

You should put yourself into this man shoes: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-20...o=feeds-newsxml and tell yourself that you can still leave this place if you feel like your liberty is threatened... while he probably couldn't, poor <strike>lucky</strike> man.

I suppose the point here is that while admins do things which are not popular with people once in a while, they generally do what is necessary. Now... In the case of SnakTHREE over there, who's ranting and raving like an angry fake-scottish Mel Gibson, he's annoyed because he's been told to move out of threads in which he has been judged to be disruptive or inflamatory.

Now he's welcome to complain about that if he wants, and frankly, nobody here is going to stop him complaining with anything other than some comments and perhaps, if he's unlucky, a cold bucket of water. Ultimately, if I saw one of my fellow admins behaving in a manner which is wholey out of line with the mode of operating, or the admin code of conduct (yes we have one), then I'd bring it up, and hopefully put a stop to it. If I was doing the same I'd hope that the people I work with, bless 'em all, would put a stop to my poor behaviour.

Players have got a code of conduct as well. Forum rules and server rules, and general interaction here is often prevented from becoming overly savage by the moderator and admin team. There are certain individuals who display certain patterns of behaviour which is disruptive. After a while of observing people, and seeing how things generally go, you can pick up on the early warning signs, and catch some potential poop-storm before it actually happens. That often leaves a few people angry, but from our perspective, and hopefully the community's perspective as well, it saves on a lot of nasty things like reports and sanctions and so on.

A well timed lock can prevent someone from getting themselves banned. A quick edit to a post or a ship and a little verbal warning can make it so someone doesn't get reported. Nobody enjoys filing reports, nobody enjoys processing them, and I can't think of anyone who enjoys getting sanctioned.

So when people find themselves getting the sharp end of an admin's actions before something has actually exploded and caused the internet version of a nuclear winter, perhaps it's worth bearing that in mind. Often enough the people who yell about 'oppression' are actually being stopped just short of doing something that'll really get them in the poop.

Just sayin'.
