To the office of the Kusari Naval Forces,

Pertaining to the license for hazardous materials, here mentioned with specific attention are MOX and Plutonium; for the transportation of such materials to and from Kusari territory.

We, the company ALG, seek to with great humility, request a reduction in the cost of said license. The exposure of our pilots and crews to the harmful effects of these materials that many corporations refuse to haul creates excessive cost in treatment and recovery times. The materials themselves are prone to degrading during transport, and in said degrading, to damage the hull of the ship and the modules of the ship. On consideration, is not the fact that the ALG are willing to transport such material for the Kusari people in a safe and clean manner to avoid any despoiling of the Kusari systems enough to warrant a discount of some degree? There have been reports of small Kusari corporations attempting the transport of such materials without the proper shielding and technical expertise, who are found regrettably deceased due to radiation exposure and their ships drift aimlessly in space, a radiation hazard prone to rupture via asteroid, meteorite or other stellar artefact. These hazards may even be drawn into the gravity well of a populated planet and cause untold damage to ecosystems and the humans thereon.

By contrast the reputation of the ALG is spotless in this regard, but only through great diligence and determination on the part of the corporation and its employees. While the ALG Corporation is registered in Rheinland, employment due to the proximity to Kusari space of our Helgoland station is abnormally skewed towards the recruitment of taxpaying Kusari citizens. These hard working members of our corporations family are a welcome asset, but they are now facing the prospect of a cut to wages brought on by the payment of this levy, as all levels of the ALG Corporation would have to accept.

With regard to the service of the ALG Corporation to the Kusari people and government in the transportation of the above mentioned materials, we request a discount appropriate to the duties we undertake.
