I was unaware of the size of the faction. Thanks for the reply then.

Click on my sig to go to the Reaver internal directory. Gives a fair idea.

But Dusty, that wasn't an answer.

But Teschy, that was a rhetorical question.

I answered your question in the op. You've still to answer mine.

Don't get me wrong, it's just that I don't see the point in making a request for something that you're going to get anyway.

I see a lot of pointless posts here. Stop it. Now.

Well, once I read a statement saying roughly the following:

Going official would kill the faction.

Could you please comment on that?

It's a risk. The curse of the official faction. But since our goal is to secure something to aid in the repping issue as opposed to gaining control over a sphere of discovery I believe we'll be allright so long as the work is good and we stand true to our ideals of following the money rather than serving as the private proxy military of faction X.

Killing Corsairs with Tizonas, Black Dragons and Mamorus should never happen.
And it is happening.
I know it's a rule-wise problem, since the Admins forbid factions to reevaluate allowed equipment.
But still, you got your weapons and ships when the Corsairs thought they could do it.
So, while it's okay rule-wise, I still think it's very wrong for you to do it. Kind of a loopholing.

I have no problem with you killing Corsairs or any of those factions, as long as you'r not doing it with their own equipment.

Also, even your new members can use Corsair weaponry, which is just ridiculous.
Someone joins the Reavers now, hops to Corsair guard, buys the gunz, then starts shooting 'Sairs.
It's stupid.

Generally I would agree. But we worked our assess off six ways from Sunday for those guns in the most insanely wtf tech deal ever crafted in the history of discovery. A tech deal formed while the Council was handing guns and ships out like candy to their friends while setting an insanely high standard for us due to personality conflicts within the council.

If we had simply purchased them, as we did with our Drakes, IMG weapons and so on naturally we would abstain from using them as soon as the previous employer turned hostile. Likewise with the two dragons and two FA bombers. If the owners requested we abstained from using them there's every likely chance that we would.

But after that tech deal? Those guns are ours now. We'll use them as we please.

Though I don't believe anyone is buying them. Likely just taking them from the rich stock we have in our armory.
