I understand how it is. The empire tried to negotiate with Zoners in the Omicrons but didn't get what they wanted.
That is indeed a shame.
So instead they decided to threaten other Zoner groups who were not involved.
This will accomplish nothing. TAZ reside on the other side of Sirius who have already on one occasion cut ties with Omicron Zoners due to our reluctance to be involved in these very situations.
So, because of this we would sooner ignore the situation entirely, evacuate all assets in the Omegas and say goodbye to the Corsair Empire.
In the end, Hessains, RR and the like will continue to be able to base off FPs despite all the council's efforts.
Do not assume we treasure the Omegas so much as to grovel once our safe passage is threatened.
It's funny, since before the last great announcement of the Corsair empire, I was talking with OSI and other TAZ seniors prior to opening negotiations so that we could all speak with a unified voice. But it seems Corsairs would rather make us not give a **** for their problems. Indeed a shame.
Well if you dont like the responsibilities for the NPC faction, you should give up your official status. If not you should look at things that dont impact the TAZ alone and instead effect other Zoners. That is part of the responsibilities of official factions right? Not to stick their heads in the sand and ignore what is happening with the NPC faction.
Or maybe we just need to bring the fight to TAZ more. I wonder the last time the TAZ has a Sirius wide bounty on their ships.

Why is it that a lot of people think that they ought to be pussyfooting around when it is Zoners at the other end of the table?
Especially when said Zoners have been behaving rather obnoxiously when they still resorted to RP?

Zelot, if you want me to help you by taking responsibility, then maybe you should try and not threaten
it out of us. We only just got pulled into what was essentially the Omicroner's issue. It was their right as
an Official faction to control that part of space and now they are gone. I want to help Corsairs but
all this rough housing tactics makes me want to do nothing out of spite.

Yea I believe the Council of Elders has on, but I am talking about a good old fashion TBH run bounty.

Good, then the role play will follow that. Look, you can blame the Omicroners all you want for this problem, but that is just another cop out. We have been asking for FR5s against people abusing the Freeports for a long time. The Zoner factions would not do it, that is not only the Omincroners but the TAZ and OSI as well. Now you want to help the Sairs? Great, that is what I like to hear, but in a Faction Right 5 request on the RR, the RHA-RF, the Reavers and the Mandolorians and everything will stop like a buzzer sounded. You dont like the way I approach it, to bad, I am a Corsair, I am role playing a Corsair.

Its still up. Most mercs shoot us so mainly only Sairs claim on it.

Just because we shoot corsairs is not a reason to be FR5'd from all the zoner bases.
