True enough, but it was their choice to do that.
Though I suspect had they plugged up the entrances to the system, there would have been much more tears.

Jokes aside it is evident why this has happened. Even off the daily mega-pew fest near the lanes to Tsushima, nomads and wild didn't ventured far from the jump-hole as well the lawful/quasi-lawful forces never ventured far from the lanes to and from Tsushima and the Nagumo.

Leaving the road from New Tokyo clearly safe and clear for the haulers to deliver. If the nomads had migrated from their safety net and started hitting the NT lane, things would have been different somewhat.

I say somewhat because a chunk of the hauling was made in the off hours of the server.

Hey, those 'off hours' are my (and other Aussies, NZ's, people from this side of the world) on hours!

Not our fault if no-one was around to stop us Tongue

Edit: Not that I did much to help, but there you go.

Yeee, it can be pretty quiet and boring during Aus / NZ time considering the average is 9 players online. Kind of the reason why I changed my sleep schedule to play with the prime time Euros. However, I don't think that there is too but the admins and event organisers can do about that, especially if they are European themselves. I guess the only thing I can suggest is activating hostile NPCs to spawn in the system normally (if that could even be done).

Making a snub for KNF was fun to play with everyone, even if the KNF got cucked.

I could place npcs in the system, but the issue with them is that they are -very- dangerous. Even a few can kill an unprepared player and unlike with other players, they can only either ingore you or shoot you. Spawning npcs is dangerous and even more dangerous is to allow them to roam unsupervised.

I've experimented with the idea, but often they would be led by fleeing players to JHs or JGs and would end up sitting there, instakilling anything that comes out from the other side without them being able to react.

The solution could be to just adjust the amounts of goods that need to be transported. It leaves the "off time zone" players something to do it they choose to either make money and assist their faction of choice, and does not "shorten" the event for those who fly through more-populated times.

RE: [Nomad Incursion Event]: Kyushu (Stage 2 - Supplies) - sindroms - 02-27-2017

That requires a little too much manual adjustments to an otherwise very unstable plugin as is.

its unfortunate people from the other side of the world can't participate in the euro pews but thats the limitations of geography. i'm not gonna stay up to 1am because of a game, have to go to work. perhaps a weekend event would be good?

Sounds like that could be.....bad /ghostbusters quote.

As it was, I enjoyed the small amounts of RP I actually did.

Ahem, well, I kinda RP'd. A bit.

Be that as it may, I *used* to be a hardcore Trader, these days, not so much, more like a 'trader', but I'm enjoying the Events.

If nothing else the resulting threads can be interesting to read, even entertaining at times.

I did but I cba to stop the powertraders in the early morning of 2-9 AM on a constant because it was so boring and literally too tiring. That and people will just outright avoid Kyushu if they saw a K'Hara on the list.

Bonus point is that I'll be alone.

It was fun and laggy, but much less laggy than ever on such occasions.

CDs couldn't track snubs, mines too. But ok, it goes well together.

Full success imho, all in all.
