Greetings, All!
A fair day today indeed! Mr. Koch and I entered into space (from two separate points) to find our new recruit ready for setup. I therefore have the pleasure to announce the hiring of Mr. James Calvert, captain of the Darrowby. Please give him a warm welcome.
Mr. Koch could not stay due to systems malfunctions. However, Ms. Esther Carson - a capable escort I've hired before - offerred her services, which we gladly accepted. At about the same time, we found Mr. Bowman flying the Kingstone. The four of us then formed a convoy and did a run to Rheinland and back. No major troubles along the way, so it was a pleasant maiden run for Mr. Calvert.
Oh, I should say that Mr. Koch, Mr. Calvert and I ran into a Bowex vessel, the Chamberlain in Cortez. I believe it may have been their CEO himself. Not a gentleman, though that should not come as a surprise. Be cautious with any Bowex ships you may meet. They may attempt to goad you into a confrontation, as they have in the past, but do not succumb. Remember, they'll stop at nothing to shut us down, so let's not give them a reason.

"The Pullman Run" = 8mil approx each run

Greetings Friends,
We have made quite a company, we have, and I am very proud of all of you and your involvement. Gateway would not be what it is without you, and I owe you all a great debt of thanks.
I wish to announce that I will be heading into semi-retirement soon, and thus we shall begin a search for a new CEO (//faction leader//) for Gateway. I shall remain on the Board of Directors, and I will continue to captain my dear ship, the Trafalgar. I will be around to advise the new CEO in any way she or he needs.
For the next week, the Board will be accepting in-house applications for this position. Any of you who feels qualified and is interested should feel free to send a letter of intent to me via PM. Please include the following:

First, Mr. Power, thank you for the warm wishes. They are well received. To be sure, I'll stay around and about to help the new boss; I can't take complete leave just yet (except of my senses, perhaps).
I write this to let you know I am having to push up the public announcement of the open CEO position - probably sometime this weekend. Circumstances have prompted me to do this a bit earlier than I intended. However, letters of intent from within Gateway will still be given priority.
