I think French are the only one left to make a sudden appearance. People have been shouting out to get Aussies or whatever. And even Russia etc. I have t otip my hats for Igiss about his integrity for NOT taking the easy route and somehow explaining the sudden appearance of Coalition. I would have wanted them to enter the scene. Anyway, a tough call since everyone would like to see their nation presented here.
What I don't get is the Frech bashing, like they always run or surrender or whatever. Just taking a good look at the WW2 soldieer casualties makes you think twice. The France didn't have that option to run for the boats, like I remember the one other nation doing. Besides if my memory serves me correctly it was that other nation that was supposed to handle the flank that got breached.
I'm not here to get a WW3 on the forums, but I just don't get about the French = white flag immediately. I hope they are just over stretched caricatyres.
Granted the French are difficult people and against all.
On the topic: I just hope that the new part of sirius will not represent the real life France, where no-one speak English and you can't get out because nobody tells you that the Sortie is exit. My own experience of France is limited but suffice it to say that it very well fits in the stereotype of French rude no-English speakers. Well the Parisians anyway.

Agreed, Loogas. My personal impression has always been Igiss would never allow a new full-blown house, no way no how. It's hard enough getting a single one-depot system accepted. Otherwise I would've put all the stuff I've been working on forward.
You're also right about the French thing.... sorry, but people have been screaming for a lot of new nations, and France hasn't been high on the list. And to be perfectly frank, I found the French-language teaser on the homepage in poor taste. I mean, the number of people who've been busted for not speaking English around here....

French teaser. It was my idea. Translation done by my RL friend, banner made by Nightfall. To raise some speculations, and, as you can see, it did work perfectly:)
The English version is also ready, and will soon replace the French one. Just be patient.

I'm curious about their equipment mostly - If I was to decide, I'd just reskin a Mirage (Starlancer ship) to look more modern and match FL.
And the house's name... big unknown and I'm having very few ideas what it could be. Provence?
