Do you mind please joining the Nomad side if the Order already has enough. The nomads can't get anywhere at the moment because of our limited ship choice and this is making the overall experience rather poor when you die every 5 minutes becasue of unfair numbers. I actually enjoyed my time here, despite various silly things happening. I guess I was in unofficially in charge of the Core after the Guildmaster disappeared... and I think I was, for some time, leading both human sides in collaboration against the Nomads. But I was stabbed in the back by an Osiris and exploded for the last time (or third, I think), sadly. So Colonel Aldric Grey is MIA right now, and we'll see if he affected the battle at all. I've been playing for quite some hours today, enough to see the conflict evolve and change. It's really intriguing how this all works together - all the people, teams, ships, sides, tactics... lovely stuff. It's vastly interesting roleplay, it's not every day that you have to stretch your muscles of tactical command and crisis management. Hence the reason I was not on my Osiris. At the start, when I just got my nomad, there were at least 40 people sitting and waiting. I saw at least 20 Irras, and dozens of fighters, bombers and gunboats. But as Zeltak said, this force was not organised. Official Keepers, and Morphs connected to the Skype Morphshare were in one group. The remainder was split into several smaller groups. There was absolutely no co-ordination, and it took an hour for everyone to decide who picks out the targets for bombers. Before this leadership was assigned, everyone was shooting at random, and resulting in nothing happening. A lone bomber can do very little to a Mako or Osiris, and unfortunately we had at least half a dozen of each keep attacking. 4.86 Event Two Thread - ProfGiggles - 06-19-2010 Why not just disable all the battleships? It's far easier to take on a Cruiser or a Destroyer with a bomber swarm. They will die rapidly and hopefully people will just stop using them when they don't stand a chance against the bombers. People will then start using fighters and bombers to take on the bomber swarm. That's what I think anyway. 4.86 Event Two Thread - Rommie - 06-19-2010 Total non-coordination, about 3-4 groups for nomads, one bomber trying to kill a mako, i got bs spammed till i got sick of it... People fighting in the chat, arguing if it should be OOC or IRP...
