Why do the Blood Dragons fly Katanas? Because they can't fly much else. Some of them wanted to fly Chimaeras, but were told no dice. So they fly Katanas.

i think they are different guns, but inferno has some advantages over mr. however, you state mr is better. why use inferno then..just for caps? i've seen you fight a ton of fighters with those infernos...
also, mixing tech is okay, but i see no roleplay basis on a full lasers (again, nomad guns), inferno, katana.

Nothing outside what you initially proposed has been approved by the admin team since the creation request.

Hi there again. I'm gonna pop in again.
My energy efficiency calculations (damage/energy) (bigger = better):
Excalibur 5.25
Nomad Energy Blastes 6.22
Nomad Energy Cannon 6.29
Nomad Laser 1 4.82
Nomad Laser 2 5.09
Nomad Laser 3 4.86
We can see that hybrid guns are way more energy efficient than true Nomad guns and you said it is vital for Katana. But... We all know how much speed is important. So I would offer to try using Excalibur (or other codenames), which is 600m/s(-650), is more energy efficient than true Nomad guns and would suit your claim that Hybrid guns are Order's.
If you say nor Hybrid, nor codenames do not suit your RP? How can you explain true (organic) Nomad guns on your metal ships?
I urge to ask why are you so against idea of using Hybrid guns that by information card (wiki) says nothing about Order. Plus developers said it was Hybrid guns and are specificaly sold on your base?

For every Aoi Katana there are 10 Order Osirises ready to battle it.

They are also allowed to run 20 times to dock and bring more bots/bats.
They are also allowed to instakill someone while he's trying to type.
They are pretty much allowed to do a lot of things.
That doesn't mean they should. That's what feedback threads are for.

No, bombers aren't too risky, they're just useless to us once the capital ships are down.
Yes, some people can snac fighters with ease, but bombers are still at a heavy disadvantage when focus fired by five or more fighters. A fighter is a better tool for the job.
I use a Chimaera for that job. Just to remind people.
Just as Corsairs frequently use Titans with Tizona del Cids against capital ships. Tools for the job.
Infernos can hit people even in chase fights. So can minirazors. So can Snacs. Infernos are more likely to hit, but they cost more power and so can be shot less frequently. I've fought people who used only a minirazor, shooting it on every turn. You can't quite do that with an inferno.
Thank you for getting to the nub of the argument, chopper. A Katana with full nomad lasers and an inferno.
Why do we use lasers? Because we've always used lasers, essentially. They were on the Arch, we're nomads. To say that you can't stick a nom laser on metal forgets the counter-argument, the Aoi Iseijin hunter ships are not necessarily standard design. A long long time ago I wrote a story in which an infected pilot's ship was part organic. The LNS-Tundra is part organic. The lasers aren't stuck to metal, they're grown from the ships.
This is a counter-argument. To which you can respond, but you never -say- that.
To which I would point again to such examples as the Tundra.
And you might say, "Yes, but the Tundra -said- it."
And I'd have to fall back on, "Yes, but we're nomads."
You might say, "No you're Wild!"
"Wild are Nomads in fleshsuits."
"But you use human technology!"
Around and around it goes.
But I digress.
Nomad Blasters and Cannons are a viable option as a replacement weapon for the Aoi Iseijin. Why do I say they're Order tech? Because I've been Order and there's a lot of roleplay about the damn things, and why they can only use two.
Yes, I prefer 700m/s over 600m/s, and yes- that's why I use them.
I also prefer Daitos over Sunfrenzies, but you don't see me using Daitos on my 113th| Chimaera. Nor do you see me using even codenames.
On Vengeance:
The 50/50 rule was something Akura tried to use, to help smother the flames of discontent from some members of the community. The Community decided to chew him up and spit him out. He left the Aoi Iseijin and we reverted to our pre-50/50 ways. It's not vengeance.
Vengeance would be hunting the people down who chewed him up and killing them each and every time they undocked.
Vengeance would be gathering information to find out which of those people have transports or miners and demanding cargo or death at every opportunity.
Vengeance would not be strapping three more guns to our ship and going on as usual.
We will continue to use infernos until the Outcast governing body asks us not to, or until the Admins strip them from our ships.
We will continue to use Nomad lasers until we come to a consensus about a change in weaponry.
When you attack us in the ways that you have, you raise hackles. People swing behind the defense of certain things that they wouldn't in a civilised dialogue. You want us to stop using lasers, and you want us to have 50/50 blasters/cannons and normal weapons.
We use 100% KNF faction weapons on our 113th| ships. We sometimes use 100% nomad weapons on our Hunter ships.
Why don't we want to use faction weapons on our Hunter ships?
Because nomad weapons are purple, and scream. They are our uniform.
If you come to us and say, "Hey guys. Those Katanas of yours. Is there any chance that you could use Nomad cannons and blasters instead of Lasers?" Then we'd be able to talk. No promises on either side, just talk.

You have to remember that the only way for them to be a threat against the Order is to use Inferno guns. In what other way can they combat a million capital ships they spew out the second a red name is on the scanner?
You deny them to fly Battleships, so this is their way of dealing with an opponent of that caliber.
You don't like it Chopper? Well, have you accomplished anything at all in the latest five pages? Do you think they will change equipment? Probably not, and they will probably not in the next 15 pages either. Admins can stop it if they want to, else, things will stay the same. And all these people throwing "RP arguments" are just hypocrites. Because they have earned technology for themselves on other characters or for other factions for PvP advantage, just like everyone else do. You can excuse it all you like but it's always for the same reasons.
