Suddenly, all your NPC patrols are trying to cut my throat. A freelancer's throat. I was like: "What? But they're good guys!" And my rep with your allies is neutral, I wasn't hunting their ships or doing quests for your enemies.
Either I completely misinterpreted your lore and your faction is extremely xenophobic (it isn't - just look at the allies list) or someone decided to drink some wrong beer before coding Crayter's disposition towards freelancers. Can I has explanation?

Go to Barrier Gate and then buy a IMG bribe then a CR Bribe but you need to make sure Crayter Republic/Military is on your rep sheet showing for it to work.
