there are still a lot of ships that could need a facelift - but unless there is a good enough replacement or at least a creative concept / idea - it won t be updated.
the virage is low on the list though - it is a genuine disco model made by legenation.
so we will still see spatials flying around, fireflys and the renzu models along with a few oddities - but they shouldn t distract too much.

Dont missunderstand me, but the Virage and the Havoc MKII looks more like a F-Jet then a Spaceship.^^

lol - or one could say that todays fighterjets look more like spaceships ( or how they were thought to look like only a few decades ago )
ask someone in the 1960s what they d think about the stealth fighter triangle thingy or the b2 bomber.
but yes - they do have the feeling of a jet.... which isn t too bad as such - after all... these ships are MOSTLY used in planetary atmospheres and only a smaller part is taken to space. ( at least if we take into account how many ships are flying in space ( NPCs ) and how many we see in the animated cityscapes flying around the cities )

They look like alien starships even by today's standards. Hell, when they were first in the testing phase, a B2 crashed and they had to cover it up. And in all honesty, the fact it looked like an alien ship only kept it all the more mysterious. Now we have it fly over parades every single year.

Havoc MK 2 looks like a F15/ Mig 49. but it still looks epic. a tad out of place, but epic. Same applies to the Virage and the RT

I love their fighter jets shapes ,maybe all they need is a new texture?
