Works in any region. Asia got it early because time zones.
Played with 2 friends for a good 3 hours. Mix of 32 man Rush and 64 man conquest.
whole lot of fun when all 3 of you are on VOIP on Battlelog (Which is quite clear)
Not to mention Squads are fully fixed where joining as a team puts you in your own squad (Provided there is space/its balanced for the entire game player count wise). If not the Squad selection menu works well.

So yeah I've played beta and was quite impressed in some points but also quite annoyed in some others. How much is different the full version, bug-wise, did they change the stupid flashlights? (that can shine in your bloody face in daylight too), jets still have the same unlock system? How are the maps?
In short, worth buying it for 63 bucks?

The bad news from what I've seen and played on my roommates comp:
Jets- All you start with is the vulcan cannon. No chaff, no missiles, nada. You have to earn those. Which means you are a missile magnet for anyone who has unlocked them.
Snipers- There is a glaringly obvious flash from the scope lens of sniper rifles which is akin to a small flashlight even during night maps. I have yet to net a kill as a sniper due to this "balancing mechanic" which alerts my target of my exact position.
On the bright side, Engineers start out with the repair tool this time, instead of being forced to unlock it.
There is also a new mortar weapon for infantry that appears to be unlockable. Devastating on rush maps.

Less Geomentry clipping. Legs still occasionally clip a little when prone against a wall.
No head splitting/stretching
Better Damage model nd more enjoyable firefights personally.
Less performance lag. runs well on older hardware
Better servers
Squad forming/Joining same team pre-game works fine (As long as server can balance it for player count)
Squad Search works in game like BF2-BC2

They are a mix of many things. All maps are modular and can be adopted for all modes. So the layout changes when the mode does. Essentially 36 maps on 9 environments.
Some of them are Close quarters fast paced. Some are BF2 style large scale warfare. Some are BC2 linear style, some are a mix of any of the above.
Designed well.
Still playing though them in different modes most of them look promising.
I played though about half in Conquest 64 and half in Rush 32 man. Can't fully say yet on all for a few more days myself.
Plenty of content to keep you occupied. It's not too grindy by the looks of it.
I'm finding it well worth the asking price.
I highly suggest if you get it, do play with friends as much as you can, or people friendly people with VOIP. It really does make the game so much better and far more enjoyable then solo.

Come on EA if you want to fight with steam at least do it properly.
I bought a hard copy of the game with two DVDs and it bloody downloads it from the internet at speed of 2 MB/s. Is that some joke or what?
Why the hell you put the DVDs inside if you don't use them!

Nostalgia?
The majority of the game seems to launch, if not run out of the internet browser. So if there ever came a day when you actually needed those DVD's to install BF3, you probably wouldn't be able to get it to run anyway. Such is the cruel nature of "going digital".

Seems like I was partially wrong, it does install from DVD, but at some very weird speed. First DVD at 10 MB/s and second one at 1 MB/s...
