'Sup,

I got so deep into trying to turn my Deep Omega logs into something resembling a memoir that I almost forgot to file this report. Yes, I know — it’s been a while. HQ already has the samples and the raw notes. I just need to make it readable for normal people… and, uh, redact a few encounters. If any of that reaches De Sousa, I’ve got a brother who’ll kill me.
If we need to run supplies down that line, count me in — Ana already handed me a list.

Anyway.

A few days ago we were in Pennsylvania on a routine convoy to pick up deuterium. Livadia’s core is eating the stuff like Fisher eats the whole Deep Omega. We also had a scheduled sit-down with HQ regarding a local militant group.
I’d love to help openly, but we can’t afford to make another enemy. Corsairs and Nomads are plenty. That said, we can support them quietly.
My task was simple: confirm the contact was who he claimed to be. Leopold ran the small talk while I ran a scan and cross-checked him against intel a few friends forwarded to us at Bethlehem.
Result: the man and his operation are legit.

I gave Leo the green light and we transferred the cash under the cover of “refuelling.” Smart little bastard, Leopold’s got a talent for making money disappear into the right hands without anyone noticing.

Let’s hope it slows Liberty’s grip on Pennsylvania.

Right. I’m going to get some rest.

Oh... one last thing. We picked up a freelancer on the way. “The.Reliable,” allegedly. They do odd jobs and seem to know their way around scientific work. I paid them 500,000 to join as escort from Delta back to the ’Crons.
I’ll let accounting suffer through the paperwork. Bye.

'Sup,

Once again, we lent a hand to our friendly neighbors.

Under the cover of a routine iridium delivery, we made our way into Bretonia. I struck a deal with a local Gaian: 15,800 units of iridium in exchange for 15,800 units of super alloy, with credits added on top to balance things out.

The transfer itself went smoothly. We loaded the Bulwark in short order, well away from prying eyes in the Galloway Nebula. After that, we went back to using the trade lanes to keep appearances clean.

On our side, we had no trouble at all. For our Order friends, though, it was a different story. They got intercepted by some LSF subgroup — LSS, or something close enough. As far as I know, the Eclipse Vanguard managed to shake them by being economical with the truth. No idea what story they fed them, but it worked. They made it to Holman, then resumed course for Sabah.

That makes two times now that outside forces have tried to interfere with the Order side of the convoy.

Starting to smell fishy.

I’ll make sure the crew is better armed from now on. You never know with the Libertonians.

Field Report: Omicron Theta attack against Corsairs
Author: Dr. Shinji Kano, Zoner Scientist
Date: 06.04.836
Location: Omicron Theta

Otsukaresamadeshita (thank you for your hard work)

I got the report from my Gunboat wing (\^/)Triton , the attack against Corsairs nearby Freeport 9 was a huge success, the combination of the Core fleet and the GMG clan was a great idea, and the whole Corsair fleet got "Hakai sa reta"! (Destroyed ! )

The Triton wing gave us even a gift, the recording footage of the fleet battle, so i'll put it in the attachements, gonna be my new movie ! The Gunboat also confirmed yon (Four) eliminations, if you have any idea on how to reward them, i'm all ears.
That will be all for now.

'Sup,

I was on my way to pick up some platinum for the industry department when I got warned that an angry Kusarian mob was heading in for a “peaceful protest” over one of their admirals overdosing or whatever story they were selling.
For once, I was glad to have Miss Schnee flying escort in her fighter, because the whole thing turned into a goddamn mess.

Here’s how it went:

The Kusarian mob entered Galileo under the watch of a sizable KNF fleet —several cruisers and one battlecruiser— while a Liberty fleet was already forming up with even more capital ships on its side.
Then, for reasons known only to the deranged, the mob decided to go after a Bristol Bulwark. The captain managed to take a few of them with him before the ship blew. Another Bristol vessel was on site and managed to recover the pod.
Naturally, neither navy acted in time, and a civilian died for it. Typical House behavior.

Then, out of nowhere, an Outcast capital ship appeared and was promptly torn apart by the Kusarians.

After that came the usual flood of insults. Then some fool named Owari Takumo whipped the mob up even further and claimed he’d been attacked by a Liberty cruiser. Said cruiser was destroyed not long after, even while the official fleets were still trying —at least on com— to keep things from spiraling.

Afterwards Gaikotsu said the line that sealed a lot of men’s fate that day:

“We the people discharge you from duty.”

And that was it.
The mob engaged both fleets.

Complete chaos after that. Ships were being destroyed on all sides. In the middle of it, the Xenos took the opportunity to target the already-damaged Kusarian Prime Minister, Sanae. I have no reliable intel on what happened to her escape pod.

Finaly an ion storm rolled through the system, and everybody scattered. The Kusarian fleet used a jump drive to get out. We used the confusion to scan and record as much data as we could with the explorer array.

After that reprieve, we pulled out as well. Those “civilians” were dangerous. Far too dangerous to pass for an ordinary mob.

And that ties nicely into the other detail that bothered me: the strange LSF unit that appeared at the start and told us to clear the area. A quick scan picked up unusual armament on LSF-Agt.Heartbreak. The signature matched the kind of hardware we’ve seen used by the Infected out in the Edge Worlds.

The “mob” pilots were also too good. Too disciplined. Too precise.

My theory is we’re drifting toward the same sort of rot that led to the Colonial War: Nomads pulling strings through key figures, pushing both sides harder and harder until someone finally fires the first shot.

I think both that LSF element and at least some of those “protesters” were deliberately escalating the situation. And I think they got exactly what they wanted: an open battle between Liberty and Kusari, plus the removal of a prominent anti-war politician.

So this needs to go to the Order. They’ve got a mess to clean up.

That’ll be all. I’m already on my way back to the Omegas.
This report should reach you well before my battered backside does.

'Sup,

Looks like I’m in for overtime.
I was hauling platinum back to Sparta while trying to stay clear of raging Kusarians —see previous report— and apparently I’m not allowed a single fucking break.

We’d already noticed an increase in the usual infestation of the Corsair variety around the Omega-55 chain. I know some of you were hoping they were just running convoys toward Omega-47, but I’m afraid they’ve now deployed a whole bloody battleship out here.

A Murmillo-class — the Slack, or Slacks, or whatever they’re calling that ugly bastard. It may also be carrying a heavy scanner array, because those morons were blasting it hard enough for the reverberations to carry through the whole asteroid field. That is bound to wake up every Infected horror drifting around those rocks.

They’re operating fairly close to the Omega-41 jump hole too, so it’s hard to miss that oversized rock pretending to be a warship. Last sighting put them at roughly 17 klicks from the hole, which may start complicating our own convoy movements.

Good thing HQ at least had the sense to deploy a Nephilim and its escort group to Sparta.

Things are about to get spicy out here.

Time for some rest at Sparta. Bye.
