A lot. I personally have... 17 accounts O_O

But of those, 9 or 10 aren't mine.

I try to download this file from Korrd's site and my aVast! goes nuts! Claims there's a trojan/worm in here. Does anyone have a clean version to send my way, or a link to the same?

Copying it to file will allow you to get your accounts back regardless of windows regestry?

The Freelancer Account Manager - Korrd - 07-24-2008

FAM 2 is not on the works atm. I have no time to do it due to RL stuff going on the way.

Hmm. Let me see the source code...

Ah, there. The smallest variable that has something to do with the amount of accounts is an Integer. You can have up to 65.535 accounts. Is that enough?;)

Yeah. I got reports about avast marking it as a trojan. I've scanned it with a few anti-virus locally and on-line, and the files came out clean.
A false positive I guess.
Still, if you see the program doing something odd, report it to me. Just in case.

Exporting an account will allow you to restore it no matter what happens. As long as you have the file, of course.;)

Avast does get a few false positives on some install files but in the "free department" its pretty indispensable.

Quote:The FAM determines where FL is installed by reading a registry key on the windows registry.
The key can be found at:
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Microsoft games/Freelancer/1.0, and its called AppPath
It should point to your freelancer installation directory. If it does not, then your installation might not have completed successfully. Change it to your current FL location if it isn't pointing to it.

Ummm, I don't have that path in my reg...

It has HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft...But no Microsoft games.

Any ideas?

can you please take out the "account activated" conformation? I find it to be rather useless since you see the active account on the bottom-line anyway.

thx:)

The Freelancer Account Manager - Korrd - 08-04-2008

Check the "Do not ask for confirmation on account activation" box.
