Of course you can. There is even such organisation called The Exchange where I and other various criminal scumbags are planning how to rob everything that moves. The structure is interesting it is like organisation that unites all unlawful organisations that are members- like crime syndicate- using the big bonus that on the start no unlawful would fight another one directly.

Much like Freelancer, it's been said already some systems will be much more lawless than other safer systems to be in. So expect pirate activity and has been said you can play the role of pirate.

Now that I "migrated", I can't use the forums and the chat. I somehow dislike their new website already...
Also, do you have to pay for everything before the game is even released? I don't get it.

Forum working fine now, think they had some Problems before.
I am pretty much confused, there's already Recruiting and Stuff, don't know if I'll buy it now or wait a bit longer until they released some more Ships.

Yeah I found it later after posting it. Know about this Game for quite a while already, but never really followed it. If I'll get it, I'll totally be Pierate...just like any other Space Game I have ever played.
