ReLIC noticed an impurity inside of X's railgun's mechanism, not taking it long to realise it had been 'disabled'. Alerting X to this, the armoured lizard lifted the rifle, ripping the safety switch from the otherwise perfect rifle and throwing it down, the wire with it. X looked back to the 'creature' that had attempted to disable his weapon...

"Likely. I have met a great many people, things, machines, et cetera et cetera.... But regardless of if I have met you, I don't appreciate people... Or machines, screwing with my gear."

GLaDoS smiled and shrugged.
:The wire can be easily removed when i'm absolutely sure that you weren't going to shoot me. As you may have seen,:

GLaDoS shrugged towards the body of the man that was being dragged out of the room by one of the barhands.

:I require bodies to recreate the lost nanites. and i rather dislike pain without meaning. It is simply illogical.:

GLaDoS showed her arm, lifting it daintily. A small orb of quicksilver-like nanites detatched from her hand, hovered above her hand for a moment, and then sank back into her hand. She sat back with a sigh, obviously exhausted from the exertion it required to disable a central source of gravity.

While GLaDoS talked, the safety switch rebuilt in the broken slot it had previously occupied.

X smirked a little, "Impressive.... Slightly." He slung his rifle over his back, between the plates on his upper arm, and the chest armour-suit he wore.

"Who built you?"

GLaDoS grew solemn, almost sad.

:I don't know. An AI drone fell to manhattan, and compiled a new operating system from the computer network. It got into the droids, service machinery, everything. It got into the nanobots as well. After doing some upgrades, it made me. I reformed into a more suitable form for flying and came here. Well, not directly:

GLaDoS smiled slightly, and a small laugh escaped her.

X grunted, fiddling with a mechanism on his rifle, speaking to himself as he growled.

"Another rogue AI..."

Den of the damned - Osilon - 04-27-2010

:Oh, hardly rogue: She said, smiling, and drawing herself upright.
:I am quite tame...within reason:

X waved his hand dismissively.

"Yes, yes, that is something I have heard before... Just don't cause any trouble for me and I won't care."

Den of the damned - Osilon - 04-27-2010

:I see...: She said, and grinned...she raised an eyebrow at X.
:So...tell me about yourself?:

Den of the damned - lw'nafh - 04-27-2010

X growled a little at this question, usually people wouldn't get to the point where they could ask it, and most who did were killed for knowing -anything- substantial, though, after a moment he made a brief smile, scratching the end of his scaly snout.

"And why would you want to know this, hm?"

Den of the damned - Osilon - 04-27-2010

The woman smiled.
:I'm just curious...and bored...and about a half dozen other negative emotions, so, please, go ahead...:
